Danger88
So I broke up with my ex-boyfriend, who was my closest guy friend, two weeks before school ended and during summer everything was fine for a long time. I decided it wasn't going to work out because I didn't see him in 'that' way. We both play golf and had been playing together every time we went out on the golf course. Then my mom gets this text from him that we should go our different ways for golf. The only thing was, why did he text my mom instead of me? (Maybe I had been over thinking, but it seriously made me curious.) My mom and I agreed that it was okay, it wasn't like it was going to change our relationship with the family (my mom is really close to his mother too), but that's when we were wrong. Suddenly he stops talking to me, not making eye contact when I speak to him, and totally avoids me whenever he sees me (or ask him a question). For weeks he had been doing that, that's when I became so frustrated that I asked one of his best friends who was also close to me and asked him why he had been doing that. His best friend said that he thinks I was kind of annoying and doesn't think it's normal for me to ask him questions, but I mean he was my best friend and if he did have something in mind then he should tell me even if he didn't want to be friends with me. However his friend said he might tell me the next morning what it was about even if my ex did rip out his face. That time my mom and I felt something wasn't right so she emailed them saying sorry if we did anything wrong, but we never got an answer back. She even went to their business district to give them food and drop in to say hi. My ex parents tried to look busy everytime she did that and one time his father said Oh is it time to pick up my son? WOW That was only the beginning, after two weeks he gets a girlfriend. He desperately wanted one because all his friends had one. This was what his friend was talking about. All of my emotions were overlapping each other and so I just told my god-brother who was also one of my ex's bff. My god-brother understood about my situation and soon nags my ex why he's avoiding me, because he even sees the way he acts when he sees me. My ex tells my god-brother , idk.. because it's awkward.. Really? Even my god-brother knew he was lying. Then after the last text of nagging him about me, my ex tells his father (he's such an idiot) and his father gets so upset and calls my god-brother and tells him it was none of his business. My god-brother had to keep saying I'm sorry over and over and I felt so bad for getting him involved because I knew he was just trying to help my ex/ ex best friend to become friends again with me. My ex is naive and really arrogant, he would twist things around just so he wouldn't get scolded by his parents and now his parents thinks I spread a rumor about him and even avoids my mother. I wouldn't expect for him to be this low, to even get his parents into this situation. This situation was only suppose to be between the 'kids' and now it had been combined with 'adults'. I've never disliked him parents, then again I could never despise anyone. I always treated them with respect and I can't handle them thinking I'm the one who did "bad" things to their son. My god-brother told me: Do you really think he wants to become your friend again? No offense. Of course I knew it was impossible, but I didn't even know what was going on. It was reality. I just wanted to know why he had been avoiding me. If he hadn't wanted to become friends with me and told me then I would have just accept that, but that wasn't easy too, he had to have a good reason to say that. I tried talking to him but I know it will make it worst. What disturbed me the most was the following week my ex pretended nothing happened between my god-brother. My god-brother even told me it was weird. That's something. My ex did some many more things that had hurt our friendship and me so much, I know I did hurt him, but I was also really sad that I had hurt him, but now it's become so frustrating and aggravating about this situation. I don't think I can take any longer to try to ignore him, and we even have one class together.. What should I do?
