What legacy to leave my children to.........

At the present I'm of sound body and mind. Thank God! But I'm 55 I've got more good days behind me than I do ahead?

I've had a good run at "her" ~ Life. Had myself some good times, good friends, some sad times, and Lord knows more than my share of bad times? I've seen times when I've been on my knees praying before Almighty God just to make it through the next moment ~ let alone the night!

I've lived all over the world. Partyed in Hong Kong and Paris like it was 1999! Had me a time of it in Bangkok and Manila (Don't ask! :p:cool:)

I'm not a rich man, and about all I've got to pass down is the Family Bible, my Marine NCO Sword, a bunch of books on history.

I guess what I'm looking for is if you were a parent of someone that was on one of those damned planes of 9/11? You've got five minutes to speak to them?

What would you say to them?

The greatest pride I have had in my life is being your mother. I didn't always do the right thing but I strived to be better with each day. I love you each with all the love God has given me and my life would have been nothing without the two of you in it. You have made me laugh, cry, scream and dream. You give me hope that the future of our family will be greater than our past and that my grandchildren and great-grandchildren will feel my love for them through you. Follow God first and always be willing to take a hard look at yourself and accept what is good and cut out what is not. I love you.

Mom (crazy hell:lmao::lmao: and you know it!)
