I went to aussi early this year, i made a great friend named Greg who ran a kiaking and night touring thing at cradle mnt hotel in taz. I wrote to hime all the time untill one day i stoped getting mail, i hoped it was cus the weather was bad but oh well. I love the way aussi's are, anyhoo good luck and just think the day might just come when u can LIVE in australia!!! (I loved it there, better than Ireland!)

Yea love distance can work ! As said before all u need is commitment and trust....it would help too if u believe that the person ure with is ure "true love" ..... my gf and are approaching 3 months and well honestly these have been the best 3 months of my life ..... We are 3 yrs apart (i just turned 19 few months ago and she 16)......although pple say shes young she's really mature for her age (being in a LDR thats lasted for 3 months proves this point).......and practically live in opposite sides of the world....me in aus she in US.... We have has a few obstacles through the way but we both worked together to overcome that. Like her parents are one of the biggest obstacles.....Shes been grounded from the computer for 3 months now (yea i know thats how long we;ve been goin out for) but she always finds a way to sneak on.....She asid theyre almost gonna let her talk to me now but if they dont she'll just continue to do wat shes doin now..... lol ...During the weekends she spends the weekends wit her friend so i get to call her once a week there....We usually talk for hrs and hrs until she falls asleep....yea the time diff sux.....at times she cant log on as her parents are always sneakin around the house....lol...so yea at times i do miss her terribly

 

Well basically ldr are never easy but with committment and trust it CAN work! Where there's a will there's a way! When things get tough i jsut tell her "Which great love story hasnt been easy" ... IT CAN WORK

Im prob not gnna see her till June now but we both so cmmitted to meet each other that we;re gonna try our best to make it work

That's amazing.

I've been in a 4000 mile LDR for a year and it's working wonderfully. We go for MONTHS and MONTHS without seeing each other but we talk on the phone, A LOT on the net, and we cam and such. It's great when we get to have close moments like that. But yeah... it gets difficult... but usually the thought of being with him and our future together gets me through.
