And, yes, it can turn into love -- but only with a greater knowledge of the persona and increased mutuality of connection. Infatuation tends to be a more surface attraction to another person. It's idealizing, eroticizing, thrilling. But, it's not quite the same as knowing someone in their depths, accepting them completely, and valuing them as they are -- rather than for how they make you feel.
