MuzicLuver Posted August 29, 2004 Share Posted August 29, 2004 I met a man four years ago who became very angry with me and did some very hurtful things to me but wouldn't talk to me about the problems. I know that I broke his trust, but he broke mine, too, but he seems to think my mistakes are worse than his (and no, it had nothing to do with other people). I asked him to talk with me about them, but he refused. Ever since, he has spread terrible things about me behind my back to people at my church, my place of work and in my neighborhood (what he said I don't know). I haven't seen him for 4 years and he persists at trying to ruin my life by involving new people I meet. If the guy hates me so much, why is he still so bent on making life miserable for me after four years? I haven't done anything to him since we broke up and you would think he would be more than happy to put me in the past. Why hasn't he??? Any suggestions??? Thanks.... Best thing you can do is ignore him and whatever rumors / lies he spreads as much as possible. Don't give him one bit of energy back. Don't talk about him to anyone (it may get back to him).
