Lov3BUG
I'm 20 years old BTW. The first day I met my teacher he overheard me talking to someone and decided to butt into the conversation. He then overheard me telling someone I wanted to be a poet. I didn't tell him this information. During his lecture he pointed at me during his sentence while saying "Being a poet..." The next day I went over to his desk asking him a question and he wasn't staring at my face, but my necklace the entire time. A few days later I got more involved in class. I noticed the way my teacher scanned the room, he usually didn't stare at students for too long, or differently. I picked up that when he looks at me and I look at him he quickly looks away. During class he gives me special attention, which I didn't ask for, and notice he doesn't do this with other students. He said things like, "Kelly gave Sean a pen." (literary example". That probably isn't a big deal. Buuuut, this is when things got weird. My teacher was going around the room and asking students what their hobby is. When he asked other students he seemed not as interested and talked to them like "yeah, uh huh, sure." But when he asked me his voice softened and he had a huge grin on his face and he asked me. I told him what I liked to do and he said "I can relate 100%..." Then went on talking about his parents. He seemed really genuine while talking to me, but to other students he didn't really seem as interested. Then, a few minutes later he said in class, "We need more people like Kelly in the world." That kind of startled me, because a teacher has never said anything like that to me/infront of a whole class before. He also was sitting in a chair and moved it over a few inches just to look at me during his lecture. It was obvious because he looked straight at me right after he did that. The same day I was leaving class and I forgot my jacket. Class was over and there were still two students by his desk asking questions. As I walked in he stopped paying attention to what a student was saying and looked at me. His eyes followed me to my desk and all the way to the door. Am I crazy? I feel like he is attracted to me. I want to keep my distance if this is true
Feelin Frisky
He may indeed find you appealing. In some ways he seems to be trying to fight it. But you've made an impression on him even if you haven't done anything to warrant it (except maybe be cute in his eyes). It happens. Obviously you hope he continues to fight it within himself so you don't have to fret about it. Perhaps he will fight it out with himself and better reason will win. Just try to act indifferent to him at every turn. If you act hostile, that will actually further engage some emotion in him where he may feel anything from being apologetic to being angry in return. You don't want that. So, do not engage him in any way but the minimum to get through this class. Good luck.
