that I don't really have feelings for anymore. like at all it's been so long. I think it would be interesting to talk to her about her life and see what she got upto after me.. i'd like to ask her advice on my life and goals and what I've done and such.

 

it didn't end too greatly. it got a bit messed up.

 

but it was 4 going on 5 years ago now. how long can girls hate their ex's for before a friendly hello is acceptable? is it sometimes never worth getting back in touch ? there's no feelings there I just wouldn't mind adding her to facebook or something. I suppose all situations are different !

id leave it alone if i were you. who wants anything to do with an ex? especially if it ended badly? someones just done this to me and ive got even less respect for him than i had before. which is some feat because i thought my opinion wouldnt go any lower.

You could come off as desperate and needy, or you two could be genuinely interested in what's happening in each others lives.

 

Me personally, I wouldn't let myself be viewed as desperate or needy and would not do something like this.

After all, you have something in common that you shared and when you meet, you look back and laugh and remember the fun and stupid stuff. You talk about what's been going on for the last ...years. It's really cool. I didn't meet them with the slightest bit of hope to date again, I just wanted to genuinely know how they were. So if that's what you've got in mind and you can handle the possible F off scenario, hit em up!

yea that's exactly what I was looking for! it just seems a shame to hold a grudge with somebody you shared a big chunk of your life with! I don't have any feelings of hate or love for her like that in me anymore. just think it would be nice to catch up and laugh about old times like you said!
