Boss sent me home 'cause I talk to his daughter

All I had was a really really small chat with his daughter, a very nice girl, & she say I'm a really nice guy & we talk for 10 minutes then the boss comes & stops me & tells me to come into his office. Um..inside he starts yelling at me & then says he was unhappy that I didn't come to work saturday & he wont forget how I did that & now he catches me talking to his daughter & looking at her & to go home after my shift & to stay there . I kept calling & calling to ask him when I can come back to work & he keep telling me just take off & he'll call me later. My stomach hurts & I lost lots of sleep 'cause I just dont know if I have a job anymore. I just cant take all these mean people! They seem to be everywhere & I keep running into them everywhere I go .

Bro. Go talk to your boss. Say your sorry you missed last saturday but you will work every Saturday he wants from now on. If he fires you so be it. At least you tried to do it right.

I did tell him sorry. I left a msg 'cause he didn't pick up the phone when I tried to call him. I said to please let me come in and make things right & he say he'll call me later & nothing else. My mother thinks he just doesn't like me & is a mean & nasty person like so many out here. His daughter is 22 & we was just friendly she talks to everybody there not just me & this is the same guy that didn't pay me for working 10 days only paying me for 5. He's so mean & jobs are so so hard to get I dont know what to do right now.

Well if you weren't paid for work that is a legal issue. Maybe you could tell him that you'll forget about those five days of pay you're owed if he'll let you keep your job.

Have you taken any of the advice that was given to you in your other thread regarding not showing up on Saturday?

 

Did you go in on Sunday to make up for it, like you told him you would?

 

This job has been shady from the start. Maybe you should look for another job, and not blow it off because it happens to be in Connecticut or because you have to get a driver's license.

even thou not getting paid doesnt motivate anyone to work

I already said that the other day & he didn't reply. All he keeps saying is he'll talk to me later. I just dont know u know. If he wants to fire me why doesn't he just tell me right now so I wont bother him anymore? I do take my job so seriously u know. I made some mistakes but it dont give him the right to be so mean & to abuse me with working 10 days & paying me half of my time. I want to just go back to work & forget everything. I need 8 months to get my certification in this field then I can leave & work anywhere else.

Hourly pay & I came in sunday & monday & was about to come in tuesday, but he stopped me & said to take off & now he has me sitting at home not knowing whats going on & its making me sick . What am I supposed to do for my next job? I cant even put him on my resume. Its going to show a big big gap between jobs & school & since the field I'm in is small what if he knows others in the same industry? I might run into more mean bosses.

As for what you can do right now, you were told before, look for another job.

Not necessarily in this field, but also as an extra income, is that an option with yoru free time ?

If not, get that damn drivers license.
