I can't be the only one right :D

So it happens to me in the morning about 2 hours after breakfast (usually at 7am for me). I usually have heavy breakfast because I'm worried of getting this embarrassing noise from my tummy but it doesn't help. It starts when we settle in a quiet room, and with deafening silence, I start to become extremely conscious of my growling stomach and will be moving my body around to prevent it. It makes me look funny sometimes why I couldn't sit comfortably.

I'll like to hear it from people who have the same problem and how do you guys tackle it?

Do you actually feel hungry? Any difference between when you have the heavy breakfast and when you don't?

Sometimes it's out of hunger but mostly not. And it happens (almost) typically when I'm in a quiet environment, especially in a quiet classroom. If I'm alone in a quiet room it doesn't happen at all. When people come near me, that's when I become aware and I'll be having my guard up and the noise starts coming from my tummy.

Social anxiety? It can lead to stomach discomfort. Pretty common correlation.

Not really? It happens only in the morning and i'm with people i'm totally comfortable with. They know my stomach growls it's just embarrassing when it happens way too often.

Take a couple of tums/anti acids. That will help calm your stomach so it won't be noisy.

I used to have that problem. I was really embarrassed by it - sometimes it was really loud. I finally figured out that both milk and coffee caused it. When I cut both of them out it went away.
