youdunsay
I'm trying to perfect myself. To practice good habits of keeping my room and house clean. Just recapping the basics: 1) Make bed every morning. 2) Never pile the sink overnight with dishes. Clean the sink too. 3) Empty trash bin whenever it is full. 4) No oily kitchen counters. 5) Clean clothes, dirty clothes. Nothing in between. No leaving wet laundry in washing machine. 6) Fold your laundry after dry. Stack neatly. 7) Iron your clothes. Hang your clothes in order. 8) Clean bed linen every two weeks. 9) Clean and sparkling floor. Mop at least twice a week. No sand on floor. No dust. (I barefoot in my house) 10) Organize shoe-rack. Avoid bringing into the house. 11) Hearty breakfast every morning. Sumptous dinner, if time avails. 12) Weekly menu for meals. 13) Put away groceries as soon as you return from shopping. 14) Organize waste papers for recycling. 15) Clean bathroom mirrors. Dry counter. Clean faucet. No toothpaste in sink. That being said, of all these I can make it clean and sparkling, I can NEVER keep my working desk neat and tidy. My desk is like after war whenever I start studying, writing etc. Anyone can contribute more to the list above?
Scarlett5
Are you serious? I'd say go out and do something you enjoy, leaving your list at home!
Els
I honestly think the last thing you need is more stuff to add to your list. My motto with housework is: Do what you need. You're not going to get anything out of doing more than you need. And if you need something, you'll know it, you won't need people to give you ideas for it. If you have spare time after doing the basics (that you need), far better to spend it on widening your horizons, meeting new people, trying new hobbies, or learning new skills IMO.
