@ men - what women wear

Recommended Posts

I never considered that anyone would see them as slutty? I wear them to work every day, I've got lots in different colours. Wear them with heels or trainers, depending on the occasion.

I hate the word slut to describe anything or anyone!

I anyhow would not like my girlfriend to wear those panties... you don't need to use much your imagination anymore if you look to someone wearing them...

or what do you mean by that?

cause last time i check its plus size people that really fit nice in leggings.

beside i think its nasty when people wear them with no underwear or thongs and

without a long t-shirt.

al that meat jiggled its just nasty.

thnx for the website i love on-line shopping and i love leggings.

the link had plus sizes featured, but i see that i must dress carefully...to look lady-like, just re-appraising

IMO it's something that looks okay when you wear a long shirt on top of it. If it really shows everything, you have to have the perfect figure to look hot on it. Honestly, I often see almost obese women in this kind of clothes. There's nothing wrong with that per se, they can wear what they want. It's just not attractive and really does not do them justice.

Who the hell thinks leggings are slutty? I suppose if you were wearing really see-through ones that are kinda like pantyhose with nothing over it, then maybe... but those??

I know people who don't like them, and I personally think they look a little weird if you're wearing them out without something long over them and you're not heading to the gym... but slutty?

You've some strange ideas about sexuality, though, I'll give you that.

I agree, they look weird more than slutty.

Weird? How can leggings look weird? I agree that the way you look is in the eye of the beholder - ie maybe my figure is not to everyone's taste - but that's far from weird. Besides, how would anyone know whether you are off to the gym or not?

are you seriuously asking men both for fashion advice and to judge your sexuality based on the clothes you wear?

how else are they to judge a woman's sexuality?

this is a straight question

They look weird, because they look like the kind of thing you wear underneath something else. It's as if you're walking around in your underwear.

I suppose some do. Mine have pockets and proper seams, ie look like normal outer wear that's tight - as opposed to underwear.

Hey, it's just personal fashion choice. :) Some people can really pull them off. I generally find them better under a tunic or long tee or shirt. Don't see many people here wearing them without.

I don't literally mean off to the gym, I mean for sports/workout/outdoorsy stuff. Usually accompanied with a tank top or a sports tee and running trainers.

Alex clarified what he meant, mine are not the thin ones (only wear those for yoga), they are made of corduroy material for outer wear purposes with pockets etc. I find the more usual ones a bit too thin to wear without longer tops.

A lot of African ladies wear them in London showing off their bum so I suppose I don't feel out of place wearing them at all :D though my tops cover most of my bum.

The first 4 across the top on that link look like underwear to me.

In our local schools, the administration has noted that leggings are NOT pants, and students can not wear them without something over top. Makes sense to me.

I think to me it would always depend on the material. ie how thick it is. For schools it's a sensible policy though, you don't want kids in see-through stuff (which is what happens often)

Oh, yeah, when people say 'leggings' I'm thinking the normal workout ones. If they're made of a stiffer material it should be like wearing skinny jeans, not uncommon at all.

Not slutty IMO but they're trendy. I have a personal "vendetta" against trends. Men and women fall in line and jump on the next fashion trend. My personal pet peev trends are rolling the top of shorts over, the welding shields I mean big sunglasses, and lower back tatoos. I'm just waiting for the day where we line up like lemings and walk off a cliff because the hottest rapper did it in a music video.

I wore my workout ones once out not realising how much they stretched... until I got on the underground and realised how see-through they were  never again.

Skinny jeans can wrinkle in the wrong places, this is why I took to wearing thick leggings in the winter. They don't have those unflattering creases over the thighs for starters.

I have a pair of jeggings. I don't wear them much but they are so comfy.

I go to uniqlo to get my cord ones. They sell out each time within days of new colours arriving. So warm in the winter, perfect.

:laugh: Ouch. That must've been embarrassing. I've made a few bad fashion calls before, including a tunic that I didn't realize fell open at the top THAT much when I bent over, but not the see-through leggings one fortunately!

I'm not a fan of skinny jeans, though I think some people look great in them. Tight, stiff material bugs me too much.
