BoyinWonder Posted September 2, 2004 Share Posted September 2, 2004 I just wanted to write for all those people holding on, who hope and dream and wait or what ever it may seem. I wanted to share a success story. I have been apart from my girl for 6 months. We talked in the beginning, I tried to show her I loved her but to no avail. So for months, we didn't even talk. I went my way, did my thing. Dated one person but really just focused on me and my family. About a month ago, she started calling my work, calling my cell eventually but I let it be. Last Saturday she called me as I was out and wanted to know if I wanted coffee. We spent probably about 4 hours just talking. By the start of the third hour she had a even more a look like something was on her mind. The whole nite I kept my cool, acted strong, whole nine yards. Finally I asked what was on her mind. She started to tear and said she was lost about us. I responded simply by saying I have always been here ( really in a friend way). She said she missed me but was scared to try for fear of gettting hurt again. I wasn't honest about things in our relationship before. I assured her I would do everything to mkae ammends, be honest and that's all she made me promised, to be honest. We have now spent the past 4 hours days with eachother, talking like before, getting along, reminescing (not sure if I spelt that right). Just like we were before when we first started dating. Mind you we were together for 3 1/2 years. She has said that she had been dating someone too and asked if I had. She has said she is happy and comfortable with me and glad she called. I can tell you the best thing to do, is live your life. Don't hold on to hope, hold on to faith and a real chance. This is genuine and real, and we are both trying for once. So this can actually work, just have to live up to promise of being honest. Which I feel very deeply and want to be with her so I can, and have, and will.
