SunsetRed Posted February 28, 2013 Share Posted February 28, 2013 Im posting this as so many of us have felt lonely or have wondered what to do on our MM's bday, esp after having ended the affair. Ive responded to those posts by reminding the person posting that its HIS birthday, not YOUR bday and today I am reminded of that. Today is my bday and I'm alone and xMM will not be doing anything for me. even when we were living the lie that was our relationship, he still didn't do much for me, as we were so secretive about what we "had". Actually, about 6 weeks ago, he had sent me an email saying that his birthday was coming up in March. I reminded him that mine was before his and never got a response back. So, tday it is my Bday and I will go do something fun for myself and he can go F himself on his bday because he obviously would never care about me on mine. 2 Link to post Share on other sites

If anyone lives near a Dillards, they had a great sale, esp on handbags, totebags. I simply spoiled and pampered myself. Im over my MM, its just that certain days make me want to have pity parties for myself and today could've been one of them, but I got out and got moving and didn't allow myself too much time to think. Plus, birthdays are a time to think of where u want to be when you are older and I think it would be sad for me to still be waitng for MM five year from now. Lol In five years his "kids" will be 28 and 23 so I wonder what excuse he'd have for not leaving then. He'd have one, I'm sure. Link to post Share on other sites

egalew Posted March 1, 2013 Share Posted March 1, 2013 Sunset - My birthday was Monday and I, too, struggled a bit. Last year my xMM went all out, e-mailing non stop, calling, presents, etc.... And though he always insisted we would be friends, REGARDLESS, this year I didn't hear a peep from him. Do something nice for yourself (I got a massage and facial) and have a nice drink.
