MorrisJay
I have had a girlfriend for about eight months. I treated her like ****. She did nothing but treat me like a king. She did everything for me. I had cheated on her a couple of times that she knows about. When she left to go to school she broke up with me. I did'nt realize how much I love her till she was gone. I'm making an effort to try and make things right. I know she still loves me, she tells me that every day. But she wont take me back. I really need her in my life. Is there anything that I can do to get her back.
UCFKevin
Short of going back in time, it's doubtful. Why did you treat her like s*** and cheat on her many times if you loved her so much? She deserves better than you.
Author MorrisJay
I know she deserves better than me, but I cant let her go. I love her to much. If I could go back in time and change everything I did to her I would, but I cant. So I have to find a way to show her I have changed and let her know that those things that I did to her will never happen again. I think I cheated on her so much was to make myself feel better. I'm going through hell not having her in my life. I guess it is pay back for all the hell I put her through. What makes it worse is that I am sincere when I say these things. But my words to her do not mean anything anymore because I lied to her so much. I need her in my life. What can I do? Originally posted by UCFKevin Short of going back in time, it's doubtful. UCFKevin
Live without her. You lost her. Your fault. Now deal with it. That's the s***ty truth, but it is the truth.
lioness
If you love her so much, love her enough to let go. You don't deserve her. Besides, you are probably only upset because SHE rejected you finally.
backspn
I am not in agreement with the way you treated her. If you want her back it will take a long time and you'll have to become her friend first. Maybe that's all you guys will be, but its a start. Karma is a bitch. Be her friend if she'll let you then you can heal the wounds.
AllieJ
I agree with backspn. I was on your exes end of this situation a couple years ago, and he wanted to get back together. After months of me not talking to him, he pleaded every day with me, and we finally became friends. We built trust and became very good friends again. I have moved on, and am in another place in my life now, but the fact that he cared about me enough to work things out and begin a new friendship meant more to me than I ever realized it would. He is now one of my best and most trusted friends, and neither he or I could ask for anything more after everything that happened. He aside from the cheating, he never once treated me badly, and it was only upon him admitting to the cheating that I found out, but if your ex could be even half as forgiving as I was, consider yourself a very lucky man. Author MorrisJay
The only problem is that I cant be just friends with her. I love her to much. backspn
I feel for you MorrisJ. In my post http://www.loveshack.org/forums/t46953/ I never treated her badly.....always like a princess. I know what it is to love someone and for them not to love you in the same way. But you have to believe that you deserve a second chance. What is this world if there is NO hope. If all that comes out of it is that you become good friends and you yourself become a better person cause of her than great for that. I have been disappointed many times in my life and I always learn from each person that I meet. Talk to friends and family....surround yourself with loving people. Yes...there is hope for you...even with this girl.....you have to believe that. Be a good person and DONT expect anything in return of your friendships and you will get it back 10 fold. Karma is a big factor in my life. Whether you believe in karma or not...what comes around goes around
AllieJ
MorrisJay, I feel for you, I truly do. And I know that if your relationship never goes past platonic, you will be devastated. I'm hoping for a reunion with my ex right now too. Different conditions, different ending to the relationship, but, I can honestly say for me, that if he and I don't ever become more than friends again, I will still be happy, because he is happy, and I'd rather have him as a friend than not have him in my life at all. I love him very deeply, and if his happiness isn't with me, so be it. I really do wish you the best of luck, and I hope that you get a second chance with her, but if you don't, please don't throw in the towel; cherish that she was at least willing to have a friendship with you. My thoughts are with you, best of luck.
