Toddbt12y1
What types of supplements do you use for energy? What time of the day do you take them? What do you stack, and what are the effects. I know, I could make an energy cocktail, using mixed fruits or vegies, but, this is supplements. I basically took my amazing blender: Mixed: milk, Craze, Myofusion, Amino(same as the one that makes Con-crete Creatine), and Con-Crete Creatine. The results are rather nice, especially getting through a rough day of work, with barely any rest. (Lol, I know, coffee )
Anela
I need to get back to taking my coconut oil, because that seemed to give me energy. The other day, when I was eating lightly throughout the morning and afternoon, I had a lot of energy.

The other day, when I was eating lightly throughout the morning and afternoon, I had a lot of energy. Kool, I never considered coconut oil. I might even try that out. A healthy alternative to a supplement, is always a good thing! I too find, that when I eat lightly, I have more energy. Though, I have to admit, when I eat too my calorie intake, or beyond, for bulking up, my energy output is far, far higher. But, they do say to eat: six portioned meals a day. Breakfast as your large meal.
tman666
Coffee man, coffee! But in supplement form (as a pre-workout only), I really like Muscle Pharm Assault due to the feeling of sustained energy without much else in the way of side effects. You just need to be careful with stimulant containing pre-workouts because they are very easy to overdo it with, especially if you're not used to taking them. I have an entire tub of Bullnox Androrush that have been picking my way through, about 1/4 to a half scoop at a time. A full scoop makes me rage, and not in a good way. I get super stressed and pissed off for no reason at all if I take more than that, and it doesn't really add to the intensity of my workouts beyond that little bit anyway. I had heard that Assault was a good pre-workout. I never tried it. I might try that, after I finish my Craze. I am indeed very careful with over-stimulis. Coffee is good, lol, but lacks the power that Craze can give. Craze doesn't really do more, then boost mental focus off the roof. Now the first time I took it: I was up for 12 extra hours, was powerful, lol. I heard whiteflood is good too. I hope I never get into a rage because of it...Lol, I feel bad for whomever you where around punch a wall lol

I have learned the hard way, unfortunately, that punching things always leads to bad things for me. I really liked Scivation Xtend as a pre-workout. Being stimulant free-I could take it at full dose before an evening training session without worrying about being up all night, but the cit. malate helped bring some intensity and "pump". The other plus side to keeping the dose as low as possible on pre-workouts is $$. I think the best pre-workout comes from within. I don't need expensive chemicals to go full beast mode. Especially when the right song is playing!

Really, I probably won'tneed one if my sleeping habits where different. Im all for natural ways. Get some metallica going and im pumped lol
Imported
You should look at what is the actual active ingredient, you know.....the stuff that actually does things and not all the other filler they put in there that drastically increases the price. I like using 1,3-Dimethylamylamine, I get it as Adrena-G which is about as close to pure 1,3-Dimethylamylamine as you'll get without going to a powder (pure, uncut) that can be messy and dangerous for dosage. 240 caps per bottle for @$20 or you can get something like Jack3d for @$25(?) and less than 50 really weak servings. I do 25mg 1,3-Dimethylamylamine and 200mg caffeine @3 times a day, pretty much like ephedrine. It has no where near the kick ephedrine does, but it does help me curve my appetite. Many people claim they get a huge kick out of it, however I think the caffeine may be a factor here and why I don't really feel anything, since I am pretty much deadened to caffeine. I've used 1,3 DMAA in the past to no ill-effect, but like you said, it can be dangerous if misused. Just think that bears repeating. Just like any other stimulant, a person needs to ease themselves into it and not ignore dosing recommendations. Also, 1,3 DMAA is on the NCAA banned substances list, so if you're a collegiate athlete, better to avoid it.
Author Toddbt12y1
Lol, oh come-on. I do not just look at say "Hey look a pretty bottle, and they say it will do what and what?! Wow amazing." I might not be the brightest apple, but I know enough to look at labels. I take Craze for one reason: It works. Is there a time-restriction? Yup. Not surprising, with what is in it. I do use many, many forums, and info from other sources before buying anything. Bodybuild.com forum is actually pretty helpful. Then there is this website, and other sites. Review sites, etc. Although, I prefer no pre-workouts, to having them. But not everyday, one can feel like Hulk. For example: Protein shake; I use Myofusion, cause it does what it says: it bulks. That is what I want. I do not take it for any primary meal; only for snacks. I might suck at telling my workouts, or might not even know as much as many of you(I'm sure I don't.) But I do have my system all worked out. It does work. Like most people: They diet, and cut out fats. They don't read the label, or go further, to finding that there are healthy fats, and it is good to eat, even when on a diet. But I do plenty of research before making a buy; also remember: what works for one, may not work for another. That too I realize, but it's worth a shot...If many people say it is good. Never know. Other then Creatine and Protein shakes, I do not have much else...Oh and a Multi-Vitamin(it was cheap, Orange Triad.) To help boost my immune system...Since I tend to get easily sick when it is cold outside.
tman666
Sorry man! I wasn't referring to you specifically, and it's pretty obvious that you know what you're doing. You never know who else is reading though... Again, sorry for the corn-fusion, broski!

You are like a living library. I like hearing the advice you offer. I take no offense. Just didn't wanna come off as someone who buys the prettiest product. Plus Craze tastes really horrible.. it's all good.
TheFinalWord
I make my own 5 grams creatine 5 grams glutamine (I know some people think its bogus, but I like it) BCAAs or an amino acid blend 200 mg caffeine (depends on your tolerance; raw caffeine is very bitter, you can just get the pills) A dash of Beta-alanine If you really want to test your manhood, HMB (like eating raw chalk) You can either drink it like a shot or if you want more of a drink, add in some crystal light. Cheaper, and works just as well for me. I agree with Tman, a lot of pre-workout drink is psychological. Edited March 9, 2013 by TheFinalWord
