OK, i have read a lot of posts on here about women being offended by their men viewing porn. i don't understand why so many people are so offended by it...

my fiance and i are both aspiring filmmakers, and we have an awesome idea! make erotic films (yes, i said FILM, which denotes artistic merit) that couples can enjoy together! these films will celebrate lovers. these films will satisfy the desires of both men and women, as well as homosexual couples (we don't want to leave anyone out). the film will actually be a FILM with a PLOT, with emotional impact, with a story that has a lesson behind it. it will be well-scripted and beautifully filmed. it will just be very erotic and have really revealing love scenes. it will not be "porn," because it will have artistic value and emotional impact. but there WILL be naked hoohaas and boobies! you better believe it! ;) hehehehehehe

as far as straight-up nasty porn goes, sometimes people just need that nastiness. human beings are disgusting creatures when you get down to the nitty gritty of it. we've just supressed that nastiness with the controls of religion and censorship and modern-day puritanism. but it still exists. you can supress your inner animal all you want, but it'll want to come out eventually. it's much healthier to let it out than to supress it to the point where you become rigid and boring and uptight.

i think couples should be tolerant of porn viewing and masturbation. just because you get married to someone doesn't mean you own that person. people need time alone, and sometimes when someone is alone, they might want to make love to themselves. i think that being born means you're automatically married to yourself, therefore it is OK to make love to yourself. and when you marry another person, you are still YOU, therefore you don't divorceyourself, therefore, you are still married to you. you are married to your spouse and you are married to YOU. so masturbate! it's normal, it's healthy, and it's a form of self-love. it also helps you to be a better lover to your...lover.

p.s. in the last big post about porn and lovers, someone quoted Dr. Phil on his stance on this issue. give me a break! dr. phil, for those of you who don't know, USED TO BE on the jenny jones show before he became an actual doctor and oprah took him under her wing. the jenny jones show is right up there with jerry springer when it comes to trashy daytime TV! therefore, dr. phil loses all credibility! he was on a show that is the very definition of pornography! trash! what a hypocrite...

There is nothing 'disgusting' or 'nasty' about sex. We are supposed to have sex else there wouldn't be any of us. Pseudo-morality foisted upon us by puritan values has poisoned North Americans into thinking that sex is dirty. The sick thing is thinking that it's 'nasty'.

i know that it is not truly disgusting...i was just trying to illustrate a point that we are taught that sex is dirty. maybe i didn't word it correctly or whatever. i didn't mean that i literally think it is nasty. why do you think i posted in the first place? i was trying to make the point that sex and sexual desires are natural.

I know a lot of ladies, including myself that enjoy porn with our BF's or hubby's and far as I'm concerned it's no big deal.

I think a lot of ladies get caught up in feelings of inadequacy and the idea that their guy might love porn more than her and in reality unless a guy has some sexual-obsessive issues, he's going to enjoy sex with a real lady anyway, the porn is just a fantasy or entertainmnet a lot like drugstore type romance novels, just more graphic.

In the porn shop where I live there is a "couples appeal" section that features erotica, or sexy stories with lots of sex...it's a great idea and I think if more women give it a chance they'd like it.
