jeff2705
Is it possible to be "just friends" with a former boyfreind/girlfreind or someone for which you still have intimate feelings? My former girlfreind wants that, and I am pretty sure that I cannot do it. Not seeing her is better for me. If there is a way, what is it?
Queen B
Maybe after some time once you've had some distance and time to move on but sometimes it's more painful to be friends after a breakup. I'd let her know you need some time and space to heal.
dyermaker
Don't do it.

meanon
I've sometimes been able to be friends with former lovers and so have people I know, but only when there's been a substantial gap so that the intimate feelings have faded. If you try and stay friends now it will end in tears.
simplybrill
hmm, I dont think so. Speaking from my situation, I am doing a lot better without having any contact with my ex. Its just better that way. My life is going in a good direction, and I dont know how keeping tabs with him would really help anything. I do wish him the best and that he's happy, but at the same time, Im not trying to be friends with him, because of our past.
