where to start
when people say they have reconciled does that mean that they have worked through everything, forgiven their partner for their affair, and everything is back to normal? or, does it mean that they have made the choice to try and work things out? LFH
when people say they have reconciled does that mean that they have worked through everything, forgiven their partner for their affair, and everything is back to normal? or, does it mean that they have made the choice to try and work things out? You'd have to ask them. There are a number of people that are successfully reconciled that post over on the infidelity board. I think everyone determines when they consider themselves "reconciled" differently. There are also a lot of people who think they are reconciled who's spouse just got "better" with their phone records.

Things may not be back to *normal* once an A affects a marriage it'll never be normal again. Different yes, better, hopefully, but not normal. Anyway, it does mean a couple has decided to give their marriage another shot and do their best to make it work - Together.
Catplates
xMM told me that after Dday, nothing was ever the same again and that was after two years. That's the only experience I have with reconciliation.
