jlola
I was at McDonald's today with my friends cute little 2 year old girl. They had great club chairs and a flatscreen which was showing some previews for a kid movie called "THe Croops". So we sat by the tv. After that came a video with what seemed to be 4 young teen boys. McDonal's had the lyrics at the bottom of the screen and I was shocked. This group probably caters to kids 8-16. Hard to understand the words, but this is the main chorus. "Keep her on the low"[Chorus] We gotta keep her, Gotta keep her, keep her, Keep her on the low Gotta k-k-keep her, Gotta keep her on the low Even though I got a girlfriend, But I wanna keep 'em both Gotta figure how to get 'em Without messing up my flow! Group appropriately named "Mindless Behavior"
will1988
I know what you mean. My GF often times keeps the TV on the party music or dance music station when I'm not home, because she likes to dance around the house and doesn't watch much tv etc... well I was fliping through those channels the other day seeing what other stations they had. I saw a kids station and flipped it to it to annoy my gf while she was on the comp. I could not believe my ears, there was a rap song about eating chocolate etc... off of a girl and then saying the N word, repeatedly! I started to crack up. I then waited around for a few more songs, and all were kids bop version of real rap! stuff young kids IMO should not be listening to!

But the age and innocent look of the young teens singing this song. usually songs of this nature are sung by older rappers. But young teens??

But the age and innocent look of the young teens singing this song. usually songs of this nature are sung by older rappers. But young teens?? I know it is crazy! The voices of the kids on the station sounded pre-pubescent... just like normal kidz bop. I wonder if it is now acceptable to be listening to violent and sexual music when you are a kid now-in-days? I'm only 24, so not too old, but when I was a kid my parents did not allow me to watch anything overly sexual or listen to rap etc..I know when I have kids I will wait until they are mature to be able to do that stuff!
