Been fooling around with this girl who I just found out came out of a long term relationship about half a year ago. She seems totally into me, but after dating her for a bit, I was curious about where we stood. She told me she didn't want a serious relationship since she just got out of one. What exactly does that mean? I always thought fooling around was serious? Anyways, my thoughts are maybe I should give this girl distance? I'm not "looking for a serious relationship" in the sense that I'd like things to progress organically, but at the same time if I closed my mind to anything serious, I'd be wasting that person's time. That means she wants to play the field, and wants to be single and enjoy the perks of having fun with guys. She may be wasting your time. However, when I've been in situations similar to yours it always turns into one or the other person really falling for the other... she may end up falling for you if she sees you are a great guy. Do what is best for you, not for her. If you want a gf and don't just want a booty call then stop the situation.
