Is there a site specifically for BDD?

Body dysmorphic disorder? I've been on the waiting list for a particular therapist for weeks now, I figure I've been forgotten. Is there ANY forum for this? I can't find one. There was BDDcentral.com, but it's long gone upon me discovering it had existed, for whatever reason..

 

I feel very alone and depressed, and I just would like to hear from others who may understand.

Keep calling for that therapist and also call around to other places, even therapists who specialize in cognitive behaviour therapy. Don't give up!

 

All I can say is, google! Hopefully something will show up online.

 

There are a few members on here who also suffer from BDD, hopefully they will see the title of your thread and offer you some help.

I searched on Google and found a chatroom site with a room for BDD, but I thought I was in the BDD room, which was maybe four people bull****ting about random off-topic stuff, until I realized I was on the wrong tab.. And what do you know, there was no one in that room... meh
