KissMeOrNot
I have just joined the forums for some advice, so hello everyone! This will be long, so please bare with me! We are both almost 21 and went to school together. We are total opposites, as he talked to pretty much everybody and I was much more quieter. We only had one class together and talked, but until recently we haven't talked in almost three years. Long story short, I added him on a social networking site and he messaged me and we began talking. First, we talked about our education goals and then our work and work schedules. He said that mainly all of his friends are away at college(about an hour away) and how we should become best friends. I said we would figure a day to hang out. He said that we should get breakfast on Monday, so I gave him my number and we texted. We ended up going out to breakfast the next day instead. During breakfast we talked about school and work. When the check came he picked it up, and I took my card out to pay for my meal. He insisted on paying and I thanked him. He asked if I wanted to stop at the store with him so he could pick up a movie. After that he took me home and asked when I was free again. He texted me about an hour later saying he had fun hanging out with me. I responded that I did as well, and thanked him again. We hung out the next day after I got off of work. We decided on dinner and a movie, but plans changed. He took me out to try something new. Basically, I liked one thing and had to spit out the other food. I had some food left on my face, so he laughed and told me. After I got it off, I asked if it was gone and he said yeah... beautiful. We left early and I offered to pay because I felt bad, but he declined. In the car, he kept joking with me saying that he took other people there before (girls we both know..not sure if they were just friends or ever his girlfriends) and they ate a ton, and always asked if he got the check. I told him that I didn't expect him to pay, but he said it is the right thing to do. Then he offered to take me out somewhere else and I refused. We decided to skip the movie we were going to go to because I told him I wanted to get to know him more and he kept making jokes how we were clearly strangers and named off random stuff about himself. We decided to watch a movie at his house(Was that a dumb choice?) We stopped at a store to look for a movie. We looked at blu-rays and he was like I've got a player so pick whatever babe. Later, he said something funny and I spit my mint on his shoe! I was so mortified after all of this because I felt like I kept looking like a total idiot. I started becoming insecure about this whole thing, and asked if he was laughing at me or just the circumstances. He assured me to not take anything he is saying personally(He is a funny guy in general). We did not find a movie and decided to watch one he had at his house. We stopped at one last store to get candy. I told him I was paying for mine, he laughed, said it was a dollar and grabbed it out of my hand. We get in the car and I was freezing, so I put my hand on his. Then we were randomly talking about school and he asked if I met people, and I told him I did but we never hang outside of school. He brought up he met someone through doing a project together and used to date. (Was that weird for him to even mention that?!) Finally we are at his house and we ended up being alone. We watched like part of the movie, then we got more comfortable and were both laying down opposite of each other. A bit later he ended up moving to cuddle with me, which we did until the movie was over and his family got home. He didn't try anything, he just jokingly would hit my arm or lower leg during the movie to try to scare me. He also like kind of massaged my lower legs and said I was super cold and skinny. (Weird?) When the garage opened he got up and asked if I wanted to go home. After saying hello to his dad, he took me home. He asked if I was busy monday and we decided we would hang out a couple of hours in the morning(As our schedules are different). I texted him about an hour later saying hopefully I didn't look like a fool and I had fun. He texted me back saying he likes hanging out with me, and I asked what he wanted to do on monday. He asked if I wanted to hang out at his house, so I asked to watch a movie? He said if that's what I wanted and he would pick out a good one. He later joked and said I need to get fat so I'm not always cold and easier to cuddle with. I told him he kept me warm, and he said that's what he was here for and he would text me tomorrow as he was going to sleep. Not to sound like a bad person, but I'm not used to guys actually taking me out before 'dating', or just being ok with cuddling and not trying anything more. Is it bad that we will be watching a movie at his house again? I just don't want to become too attached and have him not like me, or only want sex. Does he not seem like that though? Also, I used to talk to one of his friends(I didn't know they were friends until recently) and asked him to hang out but it never happened. I don't find the friend attractive, and he is very weird the more we texted. Would it look bad to him knowing that I used to text his friend? They aren't like best friends, but they talk.
