dnm1010 Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 yes i think it is important to share your cultures... to invite him/her to celebrate your traditions and the opposite way. you should treat it with as much acceptance as you can and NEVER, when angry bring up the racial/intercultural issues... not even to say "i went with you to that stupid affair dinner thingi" best of luck i am in one myself rightnow and i honestly am having the best time of my life. its all a matter of acceptance.
