No - you were compatible in your head because you wanted it to be so.

You only saw the guy ten times. You never had sex. You have no comprehension of what long-term compatibility means for a real relationship.

You had an infatuation.

We finished eachothers sentences, we loved the same movies, we wanted to go see Luke Bryan, and Blake, and Miranda. :(

We were talking one time and he was like "I just want you to say you're a bird"

it's from the Notebook, and it's my favorite line and it was great

It is important to me, I want to show people that I can get someone I have been single forever people probably think I am pathetic as ****.

This is the wrong reason to date......

A normal well adjusted guy doesn't want to be a trophy any more than a normal well adjusted Woman does. That's what this guy was to you deep down, a trophy for you to prove to the world something about yourself.

You live in a fantasy. Being in a relationship is far from a sweet fantasy.

its mostly emotions, drama, and hell. ESP with guys around our age.

Its not fun. Unless you're dating a church boy.

HAAYYY GOOD IDEA NESSAAAAA.

Making it "Facebook official" means nothing.

Just because it's not on facebook doesn't mean it's not a real relationship.

Just because it doesn't say you're in a relationship on your facebook, doesn't mean you're not in a relationship.

It doesn't have some kind of affect on your relationship, or make it mean anymore to have the status thing on there. I mean sure, it's nice. Sure it's cute to look at, but it's not that important.

A common theme I see in a lot of your posts: it seems like your biggest motivation to find a boyfriend is to not be the only one of your friends who's single, or to show people that you can get a boyfriend, or you're worried that other people think you're pathetic. What other people think about your relationships should be irrelevant as long as you're happy. Instead you seem like you're trying to enter relationships to appease everyone else. Why should they care, and why should you try to appeal to them if they do?

I also believe the harsh reality of the world is that people care and think a lot less about you than you think they do. I'm not talking about you specifically, I'm saying people in general probably don't look at or think about you as often or with as much stock as you perceive them to.

I suggest trying to find a guy that you like rather than just any guy that will just be a placeholder and supposedly alter your friends' opinions of you.

He went to church at some point lol

I know this other guy and he is super religious but idk if I like that.

I am a little iffy about religion at this point. I can do with it out without it it doesn't matter anymore.

I really did like him a lot. I wouldn't be this sad if I didn't like him.

And I'm sad that I have to start this whole process over again.... not super soon but like still.

Other people think a lot, and I mean a LOT, less about your relationships and relationship status than you think they do. They likely don't think about it at all, because... why would they care to?

I don't think all guys are, I am definitely going to work hard to find one who isn't

I was thinking maybe I will give this guy some time, then in a few months or so if neither of us is dating anyone I can FB message him or wish him a happy birthday and then it might rekindle stuff, his last relationship was in 2011 so I mean it's not like all these girls are dying to date him (just me lol)

Youre still waiting on him? Really?

This guy is not for you. He keeps you waiting, he doesn't have the balls to call you and tell you whats really on his mind. In a few months you'll be moved on and u wont even care about him so get that idea out of your head.

He's not nice to you.

guys don't appreciate shIzzy.

No darling... you were infatuated.

You guys haven't even been OFFICIAL for a month.

Life goes on. You are a pretty girl, your lack of having a boyfriend I can say right now has nothing to do with your looks. You really need to re-evaluate your approach to dating.

Again, says the girl who's own relationship progressed at lightening speed. It's pretty hypocritical for you to de-value the OP's relationship based on length of time.

You hadn't been with your guy that long had you? I'm sorry but I just can't with you, I mean thanks I appreciate it but you're 22 too like I just can't explain it.

I've been with my guy for almost 6 months now, and we didn't say I love you until almost 5 months of being together.

Not to mention we have lived together the entire time too, so it isn't like he disappeared on me for weeks. Not that I am saying there is a time frame, or that my relationship is the way they ALL should be, but I've been where you are before.

I have no idea why you keep bringing up my age.

I would think you would want advice from someone in your age group who has dated a lot and is in a committed relationship.

You are pretty, but highly insecure, I mean even I have my moments but you bring it to a WHOLE different level. I have been harsh to you on here, but if you really want my advice it is what many others have said to you. You just aren't listening to any of it. I get the time line, I get that you hate being single, I did to, but there comes a point where you need to own it.

Im going to recommend something to you. When I first got divorced and was adjusting to being single my best friend told me to do it and it helped me SO much.

Once or twice a month, get all dressed up, and eat a fancy dinner somewhere... ALONE.

Don't sit there on your phone, don't bring anything to distract you, just enjoy a delicious meal and drink and learn to LOVE the freedom you have. Stop looking and start living. Dating is a BLAST, but you need to have the confidence and independence to conquer it.

I don't think your pace with this boy was too fast.

I think your idea of what it really was is off... however it isn't new to anyone that you are dramatic.

I also think that your attachment after so little of time is extreme but that is because it is so freash and you are dramatic. Haha, hopefully with some time it won't seem as extreme and it wouldn't look so bad to you either.
