lioness
Go pay someone to fix it. That's what professional hairstylists are for.

honey2005
At least you have hair. Some people would be grateful to have hair even if it was highlighted badly.

To them, you'd just be another one of the many "dumbasses" who walks through the door every day. They are paid to tend to hair, and they have the expertise to do quite a good job. lioness
Like Faux said - they are used to it and see it all the time. Just suck it up and go, or walk around with horrible highlights. If you try to fix it yourself, you will probably just end up with something worse anyway.

Touch_of_Naughtiness
So why don't you dye your hair a reddish brown color all over. My hair is dark right now, but I used to dye it light brown with blonde highlights, well one time I decided that I wanted to do my own highlight, BIG NO NO! My highlights looked like a BRIGHT A** yellow. I went and bought a medium brown color and dyed all my hair that color. The highlights actually looked real nice after that. They blended in better. However, if you have like patches here and there it's way better that you go to a professional! If it's just not the color you were expecting it will help a lot to dye it all one shade. The highlights will still be there but they will blend with the rest of your hair.

Wolvesbaned
Just outta high school in my first year of college, my friend talked me into highlights. So I thought I can do it myself & used one of them caps with the holes in it. So there I go picking strands and bleaching it late Sunday night. It took longer than I thought so I woke up late that next morning. I had to run off to school with my hair wet just outta the shower. I was walking around school like normal and on my way home some girl pointed and asked me how I got the "cool" circles in my hair. To my surprise, I had random smudges of highlights around my head because the cap I used was previously used and some holes were already broken in where the bleach ran though! Yes, I walked around my new school with my hair resembling a cheetah. Hope you feel better!
