Wolvesbaned
Notice how most stores only carry the "pretty bras" in smaller sizes. All the larger ones look like they're for grannys with them extra support designs. But I don't like wearing bras myself, as soon as I get home, they're off! I hate it when a comfortable everyday bra breaks and you can't find it in the stores anymore It happened twice this past month.

Wide ribcage and no boobs, that's us.
Ms_Sweetness
My biggest problem with bras are also strapless ones. I have yet to find one that stays up comfortably. I just decided that they are supposed to be uncomfortable.
Naive
The best strapless bra I have found is the "very Sexy" by Victoria's Secrets. It does not fall or fold or move out of place. I hate it that most bras give me double breast, but not this bra I also hate the fact that bigger bras cost more money!
Cathalain
I'm a 38D (or even a DD, depending on the day), and I so hate it. I have never purchased a bra in this country that ever felt right. Usually my problem is that the straps just don't pull up enough, and they look like they hang low even with an industrial-type bra on. =( I recently discovered a fine company in the U.K. called Bravissimo that makes some very pretty, attractive bras in sizes up to J (yes, they make them that big!!!!). The only difficulty that I have had from purchasing from them is that my bra size, according to their calculations, would be an F cup (which I absolutely refuse to believe!!!!). =O But they sure do fit nicely, so maybe they have a method to their madness. The conversion from USD to GBP is hell, but it's worth it. Maybe the Brits have something we don't here in America! *grin* I don't mind wearing bras at all, if they fit well. And I sure do love looking pretty in 'em, too. =) -cath.
Cathalain
I just went back to the Bravissimo site and they had some really good tips on finding the right size bra, so I thought I might share them here. =) -------- Why isn't my bra fitting me properly? Here are some of the most common reasons together with our advice for how to put things right: My breasts are bulging out of the top or sides of cup and my bust looks lumpy under clothes. This is a sure sign that the cup size you are wearing is too small as your breasts should be totally encased in the cups. Try at least one cup size bigger. My bra rides up my back or moves around as I move. Apart from trying to squeeze ourselves into cup sizes that are too small, the most common mistake that we make is to wear back sizes that are too big. The strap around your body should fit snugly and it will only move around if it is too big. If this is happening, you need to try a smaller back size. BUT REMEMBER a smaller back size will also be smaller in the cup (i.e. a 34E is smaller in the back and cup than a 36E). For example, if you found a 36E fit you well in the cup but was too big around the back, you would need to try a 34F. The wires stick out at the front or dig in under my arms. When the wires stick out or dig in like this, it's often because the cup size is too small and your breasts are forcing the bra away from your body. Try a cup size bigger so that the wires lie flat against your body and fully encase your breasts. The straps dig into my shoulders and give me red marks. The main support provided by a bra should come from the strap around your back and not the shoulder straps. If your shoulder straps are digging in, you are probably wearing too big a back size so you need to drop a back size. Alternatively, you may simply need to loosen the shoulder straps. The cups are wrinkly, particularly at top and sides. This is usually a sign that the cup size is too big so you may want to try one cup size smaller. However, if the wrinkling is only at the tip of the cup, this could be an indication that the cup size is too small because your breasts cannot fit into the cups properly - in this instance, try one cup size bigger. ----- Sage advice, for sure. =) -cath. quankanne
Mine is pissing me off right now. I'm sitting at my desk and the underwire on one side is bent weird and digging in my side hah! I liberated the wires from my brand-new bra yesterday after lunch. Just grabbed my exacto knife and slit a couple of spots in the bra and yanked them out, watching carefully so that my boss didn't walk in on me performing "surgery." I hate underwires ... but need the support because I'm bigger up there than need be. got that bra -- a cacique -- from Lerner Woman, which has a wonderful WONDERFUL soft, almost T-shirt type material bra that has great support but no wire, it's just put together well. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any in white or beige in that style, so i was stuck getting the underwire. ideally, someone would come up with one that didn't make your boobs all pointy, didn't look like something your granny may have worn back in the 40s, and didn't cut or bind as it provided necessary support. I have free-range boobs unless I've got to be in public, then it's on with the bra.
findinmyway
I don't know why but I always go back to underwire. I have always wore them. Just don't feel right without the wire and they seem to shape me better. I found a bra at Dillard's....it's their brand, Cabernet. It's got very little padding (so the nips don't peek out), and is underwire, with moderate width shoulder straps. Pretty plain, not real sexy, but I really like them. They aren't Walley World cheap, but they aren't the most expensive ones they offer either.

VivianLee
Hi I'm 36C (thank God having a child can make "em" bigger!!) and I have found the best bras (in my opinion) are Victoria's Secret....I could wear them 24/7 and not be uncomfortable. I love their panties too, I haven't found an uncomfortable pair in all the styles!! Now for the higher maintenance chicks like myself nothing makes me feel sexier than wearing matching bras and panties with lace and colors! The only time I wear granny panties is when I'm having my period. The rest of the times it's all frills and lace!
