MoreThanThat
I am having a photo shoot done next week. I cannot reschedule it because I'll be traveling after and we need the photos before for work. Unfortunately, timing wise, it will be only a couple days before I start my next period. I ALWAYS have bloat in face, stomach area and breasts. As soon as I start, the bloating goes away. I don't eat many starchy carbs and will be eliminating them until this is done. I have upped water intake. Also having some green tea daily. Any other ideas for what I can do? january2011
Style your hair in a way that makes the bloating less obvious? I assume that you will have final approval of which photos get published, so choose the less "bloaty" ones.
mesmerized
Avoid dairy and any salty food. Just do a quick search on what foods cause water retention and don't eat those. My suggestion is to only eat chicken/fish and veggies for a few days.

Star Gazer
Tons and tons of water. No caffeine. No alcohol. No soda. Very little sodium. Exercise and sauna the morning of the shoot. Get a spray tan.

whichwayisup
Put cucumbers on your face, it helps! Do it before bed and also when you get up in the morning. Use cool water in the morning to wash your face, not hot water. That might help as well.

Giraffe1
do what with them? Take a bath with them, the salt draws out extra fluid from your body. Helps with bloating.
