My mother's side of the family is. But she married a Methodist man. I grew up to be an athest then Pentecostal while my brother became a Minister Muhammed for the Nation Of Islam after our father passed. Now our mother is an AME member.

I married a Catholic whose older brother had left the Catholic Church for one much like mine. And among the step siblings we are all over the Christian map. Everybody gets along except one sister who became a Jehovah Witness, she could not attend her brother's funeral.

Then this is the wrong message board, you are more likely to find a Richard Dawkins asking about getting a threesome. Its not a meet up place but a discussion and mutual aide place.

Visit the Baylor campus; it is the largest Baptist University and should have plenty of bachelors (no pun).

I had a slight idea you were Pentecostal...wow talk about a diverse family! I feel kinda like the one that "doesn't get out much" by having a family that's non denominational or Catholic.

I like to throw up the family history on faith versus relationship threads. Aside from those married to professional or full time ministers and the Jehovah Witness sister just about everybody is in what the Catholic Church calls a mixed marriage. While about a third of us are in what most people call mixed, split between Black/Asian and Black/White.

Since I have become a Christian, in evangelic terms, the only religiously nonaligned family member from Okinawa married my cousin a traditional Muslim USN sailor.

Taiko, you make an excellent point! I love it! Well at least there's diversity big time where cultural and race are concerned in my family.

You know Taiko, after being the spiritual head in almost all of my past relationships- I'm ready to give up my throne...lol...because of this desire, it would have to be Christian. But man, if you all can get along, I just think that is awesome.

I bet your family is sooo cool and maybe things will be cool soon with your sister. They don't sound like they're hard to get along with. I bet family get togethers are cool...my family is crazy, when we get together it's straight up party time. I love it.
