Mr Scorpio
Women are deciding what men should be attracted to. In violation of every biological rule. Well, I would think according to "biological rules" men "should" be attracted to women with wide-hips, large breasts, and ample body-fat. That would indicate that they are able to have several children, feed them, and still have the energy to go gather firewood and berries. In other words, not Mila Kunis.

Attracted to Mila Kunis. And come on, man, your weak ass feminist argument should shame you. The biological rule is we're attracted to young and pretty, e.g. Mila Kunis. USMCHokie
Except she's 29 Indeed. And has the body of an 18 year old. That's the point. Age is irrelevant. If someone who 45 has a body of an 18 year old, she'll be "deemed attractive." I assume we're still talking strictly about physique?

hppr
I wonder if a post titled "hey ladies, want to see a REAL man?" followed by pics of a regular, not buff, no-six-pack-abs guy would have the same effect as this one.

No. Simply put, men and women are different in that regard. A great many of the women would likely focus on his "personality" and find the stuff written in the blog more attractive than his pictures. I didn't read a single word of text in the original blog. I saw the pictures, went meh, and closed out the screen.

I saw the pictures, went meh, and closed out the screen. They wouldn't. Women are just as superficial as men. When I have more muscle on my frame, women are more interested in me. It only works up to a point of course, but it does work. And there's nothing wrong with that either.

Sorry than your Asian background makes you like boyish looking women, but big hips and boobs means more estrogen and fertility and tons and tons of men go nuts over them specially the ones who are the least affected by the media. Don't the rigors of bearing a child create these changes...? And are these men "going nuts over them" because they have no choice...?
xxoo
Don't the rigors of bearing a child create these changes...? No. A lot of women keep the pregnancy weight, but that has more to do with lifestyle changes after becoming a mother than having been pregnant. The kinds of curves Mes is talking about (big boobs, tiny waist, big hips) generally can't be created by pregnancy. A tiny waist is a "girlish" feature (as opposed to matronly). Doesn't pregnancy just amplify a body's natural shape? That is, if a woman who had a naturally more feminine body shape stayed in shape and never got pregnant, is it possible she would never gain sufficient weight to create these "curves"? That is, if a woman who had a naturally more feminine body shape stayed in shape and never got pregnant, is it possible she would never gain sufficient weight to create these "curves"? What do you mean by naturally more feminine shape? Sounds like she already has those "curves", in that case. Pregnancy tends to thicken the waist in proportion to the rest of the body, so it works against the hourglass. This doesn't need to be extreme, but it explains why a small waist with large curves is "girlish".
USMCHokie
What do you mean by naturally more feminine shape? Sounds like she already has those "curves", in that case. Masculine v. feminine body shape...masculine shaped women tend to have square facial features, small breasts, thin frames, narrow hips, and small butts, while feminine women tend to have rounder facial features, larger breasts, wider hips, and more full butts (i.e., "curvier"). Here are two popular models with very different body types: Feminine: Kate Upton Masculine: Alessandra Ambrosio Pregnancy tends to thicken the waist in proportion to the rest of the body, so it works against the hourglass. This doesn't need to be extreme, but it explains why a small waist with large curves is "girlish".So for feminine bodies, wouldn't weight be gained in the breasts, butt, and hips during pregnancy, thus amplifying the "curves" of a woman? On the other hand, I would speculate that on masculine bodies, weight is more evenly distributed...?

Her curves are more slight, but she is far from masculine in my eyes. What I'm saying is that BOTH of those women will probably have a thicker waist in proportion to their breasts after pregnancy than before. If they get down to pre-pregnancy weight, their breasts may be a bit smaller and waist a bit thicker. If they retain weight, it will also be in their waist. That's the tendency.

You are kidding right? I thought you are smart. Or maybe we are talking about different things! When women go through puberty, their body is flooded with hormones and these hormones causes then to form breasts, hips and thighs, and you know, all those differences that you see between men and women's bodies. Why do you think women have been getting boob jobs or wear corsets as lingerie when they want to spice things up?? do you really think only men without options prefer an hourglass shaped women to a straight one?
