Hello, new to LS. Came here to help me deal with getting dumped so harshly but that is for another section of the forums lol. Anyway, I am 5'11'' and weigh 170-171 pounds. I do have some flab so how can I lose 10 or so pounds of fat in the quickest time possible? Roughly two months.

As for working out, I've been doing things like curls but I don't see any change in my arms anymore. Maybe I'm working them out too often or ineffectively? Offer exercises for them please? I curl 20s usually. or 65 if I'm using barbells.

Any tips for pectorals? I've never been fit or skinny so when I started working out muscle started building under my moobs so now they're perky -_- lol but now when I bench I don't feel it in my chest. Only in my arms so my arms fatigue before my chest. I've been doing push ups to maybe even out the strength between my chest and arms so they will tire at the same time but not sure if it's working.

Any tips will be greatly appreciated. Also, eff working out legs. My legs are naturally big and I HATE leg exercises.

Legs help give you an even look though.

Try switching your workout in order to trick your muscles. They learn and develop to any exercise, and as a result, growth greatly slows down. Alternate between dumbbells and barbells.

Weight lifting will burn fat. But cardio is more effective. Although, lifting weights...your muscles tend to burn extra calories even after working out.

If you want an evenness in your chest(pushups are great for firming the chest)...try dumbbell incline/normal bench press. As it forces each pec-muscle to lift the same load, without help from your stronger arm. Plus, to me, it gives a better looking build, with less injury risk, then barbell.

You can do 21s as a curl. I am sure you can research out those(don't always do 21s...not that it'll hurt. If you do them, add them as last in your curl exercise.

You can do an overload curl; curl the Max amount of weight with a dumbbell you can curl. Do as many reps as possible, and use your other hand to help curl...if you need to.

There are cheat curls(you can overload a barbell to your Max and bend slightly over..and use your back/body weight and etc to help you curl. I hear it is safer with a machine. Resistance machine. It was tested as being able to split fibers, rather then tear them. Better growth.

Do butterflies. In order to build properly, requires the right form. The right amount of nutrition. The weights themselves are just the tool. Creatine supplement can help in your workouts.

I'd keep up a cardio along with weight lifting. Two-months, if done right, you should see something. Maybe not your goal -- but something. It takes time.

Tmann or many other posters will probably give you better advise.

Oh take up boxing :p you'll burn calories. Or a martial arts, LOL.

Jumpropes, weights and running. That's it.

Incorporate weights three time a week, with arms one days, chest another, and finally back. Then you do moderate cardio to increase fat burn. 30 -45 minutes of cardio is sufficient to burn fat. Also on certain days, try to do HIIT workouts.

And also fix your diet. High protein, moderate fats and carbs.

Dude, where's the flab? Arms? I am guessing it is in your waist area, as that where it tends to gather first with males. Anyway...

Do exercises that involve high repetitions and low weights (~35-60% of one-rep max). Rest no more than 30 seconds between sets of 20+ repetitions. NO MORE THAN 30 SECONDS DAMMIT!!!!! Otherwise, you are working toward muscle building. Fatigue those bad boys with constant pressure to burn fat. Building muscle involves more activation muscles, so losing fat is easier than gaining muscle.

Once I know where this flab is, I can suggest actual exercises. :p

The flab is the stomach, flabby arms, and moobs. That's it.

Squats.

Deadlifts.

Pull ups.

Pressing.

Barbell and Dumbbell Rowing.

Sled sprints.

Box Jumps.

Dips.

Lunges.

Fill your plate 3 or 4 times per day with half leafy green veggies (kale, chard, spinach, bell peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, etc.) and half lean meat (chicken, lean beef, lean pork, turkey, etc.). Use salt sparingly. Cut out most, if not all sugars.
