Faye
Are there any good men out there that is not married? I am in a broken relationship and in desperate need of a MAN to help me erase the pain of a cheating and abusive boyfriend for over 15 years. He has fallen in love with a young lady, she's 19 and he's 36. I want to move on and I guess I do not know where to begin. Any advice?

SoleMate
I am in a broken relationship and in desperate need of a MAN to help me erase the pain of a cheating and abusive boyfriend One man can erase the pain caused by another??? I'm gonna have to think about that one for a while. I understand that a new love interest can be distracting and fun. But I hope you take time to really work on your OWN issues. Why did you stay with this jerk for 15 years? I don't doubt that his behavior was dreadful, but did you really take as much control of your own life as you should have? Do you feel like you have control over your life? When you get DESPERATE for a man, you tend to attract the bottom feeders. I would recommend working on loving yourself first, and learning to face the world solo. When you feel your own strength, the pain will fade. A side benefit is that you will then become attractive to a better type of man.
