• Defends himself
  
• Defends people weaker than himself and stands up to bullies
  
• Has a high sex drive
  
• Ambitious/Passionate
  

Loser "macho" traits

• Doesn't converse or think deeply -- where is the person? Makes me lonely
  
• Doesn't form deep connections
  
• Narcissistic/cocky/disrespectful
  
• Unfaithful -- if he doesn't have integrity NOTHING he has is of any use to me

Plus, there are a lot of good men today who are responsible, hold good jobs, participate in their churches, civic organizations and communities, raise their children, and generally do all of the things men were supposed to do for millennia, yet today, unless they are also a self-centered, aggressive, arrogant, egotistical jerk in addition to these things, they are not considered dateable by many women. Today, we have become a society where appearance "Image" means everything, substance nothing. Most genuine men of our fathers and grandfathers generation would laugh at the "alpha men" of today who try to act like men." They would immediately recognize the fakeness. It's sad that today's women can't.

 

Traditionally, part of being a "man" was marrying, fathering lots of babies, and becoming the head of the household. Men (and women) today aren't as excited about all this...
