Lilla Posted April 28, 2013 Share Posted April 28, 2013 Hey, I'm a dancer of various styles, mostly partnered swing, blues and tango. Recently, particuarly as my dancing and movement has become more advanced, a recurring thing that's holding me back (no pun intended), is the tension I hold in my upper back and across my shoulders. I also have chronic fatigue syndrome, so often find it hard to exercise in a traditional manner. Which is one of the reasons I began dancing so much 4 years ago as a hobby (though since become hooked). From what I can tell, it is a mixture of stress, an old injury and chronic fatigue related muscle ache. I am planning to see a doctor soon but I live 1.5 hours away from my registered surgery. So any other advice in the meantime/exercises that help, would be awesome. Thanks Link to post Share on other sites
