N51 Posted September 23, 2004 Share Posted September 23, 2004 Hey everyone, Well ive been in a LDR for over a month now but just recently im starting to get threatening letters from this dude......He says my gf is his and that ive stolen him from her.....I spoke to her abt this, and she was like they dated when they were 11 (that was like 6 yrs ago) and that didnt even last long........after that theyve just remained friends and she has had 2 other bfs including me..........She definately isnt in love with him but that guy is jsut not giving up! He too stays in a diff city but is closer to her than i am. Hes sending me threatening letters in my email saying that he has money and resources and he will come down here if he has to......hes probably my age (17-19).,.... I mean i know that its more talk than anything.......but im just fearing wat if its true....what if he does have contacts......he also knows my address coz he was able to hack into my gfs email add and get it I mean both me nd my gf are not affected by his actions, but how do i stop these threatening letters! It's called geographic (or internet-) bravado. If you lived down the street from him, he'd be quiet. It's like a guy in a chat room sayin "Hey, I'm gonna kick the **** out of you, waaaaaah"... I mean u wont believe this....u used to hack into my gfs email account and used to send mails from there saying lets break up......I mean taht was really really pathetic! (ive told her to get a new email id) His money can buy him wateva he wants but it sure aint gonna buy our love! Anyways thanks again, and yea im sure its gonna get irritating and i have told quite a few friends who are willing to help me kick his ass if he comes here =P.......but im just not gonna reply to his mails........he can keep sending me mails and waste his time .... eventually i reckon he;s gonna get bored...=) Link to post Share on other sites

Get his full name, address and email and sent him letters at his home to his mom and dad so that they see what their precious little boy is doing with his spare time. He isn't 18 yet, is he? Chances are he's still living with his folks. Anyway, even if you don't do this, find out as much as you can about the guy, keep all the mails for evidence as you never ever know what kind of sicko ran into you. Also, go to a police station and ask - just ask what your options are given the situation you're in. It's always better to be one step ahead.
