selfsabotager
So my ex found out 2 days ago through a mutual "friend" that I drove by his house exactly one time almost a week ago and saw his ex g/f's car there. I did not call/text/email or otherwise contact him and haven't in almost 3 weeks and he called the police to say I'm stalking him. WTF? Is he out of his mind? We've only been broke up for a month and he has that little love left that he called the cops? I'm blown away. I'm further blown away that the police even entertained him by calling me. How did that convo go? My ex drove by my house once. Has she called you? No. Has she text you? No. Has she contacted anyone else? No. Have you seen her drive by other times? No. Ok, let me call her and tell her to never drive by again. Keep in mind this is the day after he called me on my boss' line at work because he was blocked on my phone. He called to tell me not to call. Um, I haven't in 2 weeks! I don't even know what to say or think........

mbee
This should give you more reason to ignore him. From my situation I've learned that regardless of how much love people have for each other, people do crazy things and respond to anger in extreme ways during a breakup. You really aren't acting like yourself and to be honest, I can imagine a friend telling him "Man, she's a stalker, call the cops before something else happens" and then he did it. Doesn't make it right or excuse it but goes to show that you two still have some intense feelings that are leading you both to do some strange things in response to the anger and frustration of things ending. Leave him alone and let things cool down. That's the point of NC, so that you can calm down and not feel the need to drive by his house and so that he can chill out and not do stupid stuff like call the cops on you. He's acting this way because he doesn't know how to handle this own feelings about the situation. Yelling at you about it at your work and calling the cops is his way with coping with it. With someone like that, I would be very cautious and leave him alone. Who knows what else can happen or what he's likely to say or do if he feels you are trespassing on his life in some way. He sounds like a jerk right now and you are doing the right thing by continuing to not speak to him.
