I told her I liked her, and I dont get a reply.

Well today, I was about to tell this girl I liked her, but instead I waled away hoping my friend would follow, but he stayed back and said "Derek Likes you. Bit hes being a pussy..." (i know because I asked him what he said. I turned around and saw them talking, I came back she says "dont worry he diddnt say anything" and then leaves. Not a single reply. Before seeing her I tapped on her backpack, she turned around, when i said i had to tell her something, her face went pale, and she frowned,(i think she knew what I was going to say). Now after we finished all our classes, I came home and I see a pic of her and this other guy, hes been driving her to places, i went to his tumblr, it says Im dropping hints left and right, why dont you notice, i drive you to tons of places. That means I have to act quickly.

I feel like she does like me because of al the signs she has given me a few days prior, but she doesnt want to ruin the friendship. or she is now afraid of me. I also feel like I need to win her heart before the other guy does.

this is what i believe about hearts....you cannot win what isnt freely given when it comes to a heart...a heart chooses who is in there....

maybe she does feel that way ..about yours and her friendship...or maybe you looked uncomfortable that si why she came over and said dont worry he didnt say anything......i know when i sense a guy is uncomfortable i wont make him feel more so by being confronting.......and with guys...to me...to take a masculine approach and confront feels alien to me........the last thing i want to know is i made someone uncomfortable.....maybe she feels that way....

i think you should step up and i know its scary for you......but it separates men from boys...i have always known this.......girls need boys...women need men........its nothing to do with femininity or feminism any more or shouldnt be...its a basic fact ...women need men.......and men need women...it is so simplistic, and the truth is always simplistic, a natural inherent desire for a woman to take pleasure in a man's lead is not submissiveness...or a put down...its just natural....feels so right it cant be wrong.......the gender roles have been confused and set back to a level of confusion that just doesnt need to be there....be a man....step up....you wont look back....be confident in your ability to be the right one for her and her to be the right one for you....and then let come what may....and eyes front...or let the other guy beat you to it.....i think i know you wanna step it ...so go......here's a hug for your journey ...trek on...smilin atcha .....:D...deb......

Okay so today I was looking for her. She saw me after class but she looked quickly at me and frowned. Whats uo with these mixed signals? Before I told her she had the signs, when I told her she seemed sad.

Was it wrong to confess my feelings to her. I feel so guilty for putting her in this position.

There is nothing wrong with being honest and communicating with her - it saves a lot of trouble down the road! It takes a lot of courage to come right out and admit how you feel, be proud about that. It makes you more mature than many other guys, imo.

It's true, you may risk rejection but hey, when 1 door closes others open up as well. Better to know the truth and not wonder, even if it hurts in the short-term.

I like this! :)

Thank you :)

I have 2 teenage sons, 15 and 16 yrs old... I give them the same advice!

To be a real man, you must be honest and allow yourself to be vulnerable at times. That's true strength. You will get kicked in the teeth sometimes, but at least you can say you gave it your best and have pride :)

Good advice! I like this too! Hopefully, in their experience, they don't grow up as cynical as many of the guys today! :)

Personally, i hope they grow up to be "HOPEFUL" romantics w/ few, if any, hitches along the way to finding love....I'm an optimist by nature, but....eh, that's for another story. :)
