Bonesz
I'm not sure if this is a health thing or a mental thing. I'm guessing it's a health thing because I don't feel depressed or anything of that sort, but I'm not sure :/ But lately I've just had absolutely no energy. I wake up in the morning feeling like death. I'll sleep a good amount. Usually around 8 to 10 hours. But every time I wake up, it feels like I got NO sleep and my body is begging me to go back to sleep. I find that if I DO go back to sleep, I'll feel worse when I wake up. I go through the day with a really foggy head and no energy. Like I just literally can't get my thoughts in order. I'm just confused and in zombie mode all day long. If someone asks me a question, I'll have to ask them to repeat it cause my brain couldn't process all of it the first time. I feel stupid and boring. When I see my friends or gf, I'm just there. I have nothing to say because my brain isn't thinking anything and I usually just want to go home and sleep. I'm afraid that I'm boring the crap out of my gf and I'm not giving her the love she deserves. I also have ZERO sex drive. I feel like I'm eating ok. I exercise every day, I try to stay true to go to sleep and wake up at the same time every day, but no matter what, it won't go away. It was gone for like 3 or 4 days this past week and I felt fantastic, but then it came back and I have no idea what I did different. Anyone have any tips?
2sure
I was going to say as tired as you are, do some cardio...it picks me up. But you said your are. I think you should see a doctor, complete physical, maybe some blood work. Deficiency in something.
2sure
Were you overseas?
FitChick
Are you eating a lot of sugar? Are you drinking? Keep track of what you eat. Does your girlfriend say you snore? You could have sleep apnea. Anyone in your family have thyroid problems? Are you very pale? When you pull down your lower eyelid is the inside pink or red? Author Bonesz
I was going to say as tired as you are, do some cardio...it picks me up. But you said your are. I think you should see a doctor, complete physical, maybe some blood work. Deficiency in something. Well to be fair, I've only been doing it for about 2 weeks now. But still, it isn't helping Were you overseas? Nope, I've never been overseas Are you eating a lot of sugar? Are you drinking? Keep track of what you eat. Does your girlfriend say you snore? You could have sleep apnea. Anyone in your family have thyroid problems? Are you very pale? When you pull down your lower eyelid is the inside pink or red? I do eat a moderate amount of sugar. I don't know if it would be considered a lot. It might just be one sugary snack a day at most. Nope, I don't think I snore No one in my family has thyroid problems, but my gf told me that it sounds to her like that's what it might be. Honestly, I'm color blind so I'm going to have a hard time answering that question lol But no one has ever said anything about me being pale, and personally I don't feel like I am :/
Chief Wiggum
Check your iron levels. Maybe they're low.
Woohoo
Depression is not sadness. It is the absence of feelings and zest for life. Do you snore? If so you may want to look into sleep apnea. That can tired you out. Otherwise it sounds awfully similar to depression.
youngnlove89
The SAME exact thing happened to me and still does happen to me. I went to the doctors, got a lab test done and the results were that I was Vitamin D Deficient. Go look up the symptoms online, I had most of them.
FitChick
Buy some vitamin D3 (Trader Joe's sells 1000 IU) and take it for a week or two and see how you feel. It's a natural antidepressant. You could also sit or walk outside in the sun for half an hour. You could also be dehydrated, especially if you drink a lot of coffee or caffeinated beverages.
2sure
Now that it's been mentioned, two years ago I was sluggish , thought it seemed like depression but couldnt figure out why...had routine bloodwork. Vitamin D deficiency. I live in the north east so no huge surprise there. It did solve the problem. I did have to go for more bloodwork though to make sure I was able to process vitamin D. I am , but if I hadn't been able to I would have had to take it with something else. So, get some bloodwork. Are you a vegetarian I wonder?
