Kapoor1000
I was very skeptical to believe in the theory of karma and used to feel that those who believe are foolish people. The future is in the hands of the people not in the hand of god. But as i am growing in my spiritual path, doing spiritual practices regularly. I have started to understand this concept of good and bad impressions that are left in the mind of the people as well as on my own mind and the effects they have on a person's life. Now i am able to see that pain and suffering people now are facing is not because they have a bad luck or someone has to be a loser in a game. But these are the direct results of some wrong doings previously which are now coming back to take the revenge. Just take for example Mahatma Gandhi's life(with all due respect), he once used to force his wife and other members to eat boiled and tasteless food in his ashram (the time before committing himself for the nation). And i think because of these wrong doings led to his assassination rather than a smooth and quiet death. Maybe i am a little immature in the knowledge and would love to have your thoughts on these. melodicintention
The idea of "karma" isn't much different than the idea of "god." It's called "magical thinking." I'm a scientific thinker. I need empirical evidence. So far nothing proves "god" or "karma." If there was Karma why did Hitler and Kim Jong Il get away thing all they did and the universe didn't "magically" pay them back with this Karma thing? We make our own Karma. Some get paid back, but that's usually because they get stupid and bring their own karma on themselves with bad decisions. There's no magically energy getting us back for wrong doing. We are here by chance. On a long enough timeline, nothing really matters. God is for those fearing the dark.
worldgonewrong
In the end, Hitler ended up blowing his own head off in a grimy bunker. Karma.
GorillaTheater
In the end, Hitler ended up blowing his own head off in a grimy bunker. Karma. Well, he HAD just gotten married, you know. And at least he had the ball to save the Russians some bullets.
