She might be getting mixed messages with you maintaining that you can't be friends if you keep replying to her texts in a friendly manner. To be honest, I think this is pretty normal in the first few weeks after an amicable break-up; one person, or both people perhaps, reach out to the most familiar person because they are not sure whether they have made the right decision or they are feeling confused about their emotions. They don't want to let go completely because it seems so final. I think it will probably wear off soon and she will leave you alone. Link to post Share on other sites
