I need a quick answer! Am I friend zoned or should I keep pursuing this girl I want?

I've hooked up with this girl twice about a month ago, but we stopped because she didn't want it just to be about physical/didn't want to be in that position.

Which I told her it wasn't. Then a few times she came to the same bar but I couldn't dance with her because her best friend is my best friend's ex (so I was in a tough situation, had to be loyal and not socialize with them too much at the bar).

I could tell she really liked me, but not sure if she felt rejected or whatever when I wouldn't dance with her, even though I explained exactly why.

Since summer we've been texting a lot. She always responds with "!" and emoticons. We used to text a little more personal, but now it's kinda friendly. But I sort of have been dancing around asking her out.

I'd say things like "Yeah I'll take you to get ice cream, a walk in the park, gosh I'm so romantic". And she was all for it.

One time I was gonna ask her out a week in advance (bad move with asking so far away and it was her birthday-didn't know that). I said if she didn't have plans I'd come take her out. She said:

"Alright we'll see! Or if I make some plans to go out then you can come too! That's too far ahead for me to have plans but I'll work on it!"

I said "Haha alrighty"

She said "Thanks for offering to take me out though! :) I feel pretty special!"

We joke back and forth about getting ice cream and she said one time "well I guess we'd have to actually go out for ice cream!"

My problem is that she live 2 hrs away. Also she has never really texted me first that often. She plays hard to get sometimes but maybe that's the way girls are.

texts are always pretty quick back and forth and consistent in content. Like she is always into the conversation, but rarely starts it

She's 23 and I'm 22 btw.

Guys/girls, any thoughts? Should I keep pursuing this?
