I think it was right away. I think they went on a couple more dates, but it just wasn't a match. I don't think his past had anything to do with it; just different lifestyles in general. :)

 

pih, I think you're right in sticking with your natural ways of being open and honest. If it's God's will, nothing can stop it (no matter what the dating books say!). :)

 

Hey thanks Pie! I don't think his past had much to do with it either, IME people without agendas appreciate it.

 

You know, that was a weird period in my life. Those were all cheap dating books. I was very confused and hurting over an extremely abusive relationship, trying to understand what "I" had done wrong. God showed me I had comprimised terribly. That should have been obvious, but He had to show me:rolleyes:

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: I can't win either way in this area with men. With the really good looking ones, my friends were always hitting on them- with the not so good looking ones, they were hitting on my friends. This is why I've given up!:laugh::laugh::laugh:

How many people do you know that put their religious faith to the wayside, when they're totally into someone?

Many, many of my buddies pretend they don't no church when chicks are around, its like faith is a taboo subject.

This why I've always said--and wil continue to say--that God is not first in our lives as he should be. Our actions reveal the exact order in which we rank priorities in life.

 

There is only one man who ever put God first. Truly first. Not just in words.
