We say we both love eachother but she doesn't want a relationship yet?

Recommended Posts

She says that she'll love me forever,, but doesn't want to be in a relationship. I think she might be thinking that I'm going to wait forever for her.

What do i do? We've been on and of for the past year however we've been through so much together and i KNOW that if we get together we will last a long time! I don't want to mess this up because of what she means to me.

Please bare in mind she has a holiday abroad coming up in 77 days:/

Imagine this:

A) a woman has a man's child, stays with him and sleeps with him but tells him she does not love him

B) a woman tells a man she loves him but does not sleep with him and does not stay with him

C) a woman tells a man she loves him and marries him

The paradox of words and actions is stark. Without action, words are utterly without meaning or value. Without words, actions remain thoroughly meaningful.

Now - what has this woman who apparently loves you done? Nothing. In those 77 days she will entertain and sleep with men she truly loves perhaps whilst telling them she does not love them. Either way, should she marry, it will be one of them and not you

She is not your friend. Go find someone willing to show you love rather than talk about it!

Agree. Just a bit of attraction + having noone else around would make her want to try.

She loves you forever, but doesn't want a relationship = she has no attraction + noone else is around.

What do you have to mess up though? If she isn't interested in a relationship then you have nothing other than a friendship right now. If you remain as polite and fun as you've been all along, then you can't mess that up. However, you can't make her want to be in a relationship with you. It's time to move on. Just be her friend.

BTW people want what they can't have. You never know, over time as you get over her and start dating other girls, she might want you back. And if she doesn't, well who cares because there is likely a better girl than her out there waiting to meet you but can't because you are online fretting on this girl.

It's time to move on and find someone who loves you like you love them.

No. No, no, no. If she was in love with you, really, nothing in the world would stop her from being with you. I've never understood why people say things like this when they feel something entirely different, but they do, and I've been on both sides of that coin, especially in my younger years.

My advice- find someone who actually wants to date you, sleep with you, and enjoys what you have to offer. There are literally millions of women to choose from, so the odds are in your favor.

Are you having sex with her? Are you going on holiday with her? If you answered 'no' then she isn't your girlfriend and doesn't feel the same way about you no matter what she says.

I agree with this post entirely, except for the bit in bold. Don't even bother to be her friend. To your girl a friend fulfills her needs without the requirement for anything in return. Why would you waste your time?
