steelgator
So I've been dating this girl for two months. We started dating a month before she graduated and we both hit it off great. The problem is I don't graduate til December and she is going to law school in DC (we both live in Florida). So we made an agreement not to become official even though we act like boyfriend and girlfriend with how we interact with each other. I've never met a girl as amazing and nice as she is. We never fight and she's the type of person that can just light up a room with her smile and outgoing attitude. And she just told me she likes me more and more each day. She dropped the "L" word last weekend when we met up for the weekend but she was a little drunk (she apologized the next morning). It's just really weird, the only thing keeping us from becoming official is the distance. We are both extremely smart and that's why I think we are both hesitant about entering a LDR. We both know that we can't do it but we agreed in keeping the communication lines open. We keep in contact every day and as each day passes I develop a stronger emotional connection. I don't want to get hurt but I don't want to stop talking to her either. She has made me so happy.
RangerJeremiah
Man, I have been in nearly the exact situation. I'm guessing both of you are in your early twenties. If this is the case, I recommend you play it somewhat cool. Don't rush things on your end just yet, but let her develop a stronger interest in you. She will.
amkxoxo
I know what you are going through. I'm literally in the same boat. We met at school and he just graduated after 3 months of dating. He was scared to be official because of the distance so we aren't. I know it stinks. If she means that much to you, make it happen. Plan visits, talk on the phone, Be in love. My best friend met her boyfriend and he moved to Florida 3 months into knowing him. They are now a year strong. You can do it. If you don't want it to fail, then don't let it. Trust me I wish my guy wanted to be with me as badly as it sounds you do. He's afraid we'll fail and he doesn't want us to because he cares about me. Well if you don't try you will never know. If you love her to, make her yours.
