He is really really hot and has a well defined body as he works out all the time. I love to feel his abs, pecks and to caress him all over. We both just barely met and already we are all really into each other.

The problem is he's a whittie from Appalacia who moved here to the West Coast, I'm pacific islander and one of my friends told me, "don't mix races". After hearing that I got so sad and depressed.

Sociology says that we are all of the same race, the human race. But after hearing her say it was a bad thing for us to be together it was like a slap in a face. I can't help but think that maybe she is right? If the two of us hook up and become boyfriends do you think we would have issues going out in public? Where I live it is ultra liberal as it's a college town. Only, just what exactly am I getting into? All of this seems like uncharted territory. It's insane to think that us being together can never be accepted by society, not only because were gay but because we are interracial.

It just breaks my heart because he is so cute and already I feel genuine love for him. Genuine love, not just lust. He also feels the same way about me too. It's amazing.

Should I follow my heart? Or is what we are doing wrong?

you only just met the guy.

you're not in love.

you just fancy the ass off him.

but if you really want to begin to form a relationship with him and you let what other people might think stop that, you're a muppet.

they don't want to date him, fine.

all the more for you.

Oh my lord- go for it. "They" will always have something bad to say about who you date. He's too lazy, he's so motivated he ignores you, he's too good looking, he's too ugly, he's too quiet & shy, he's too flirty. Skin color is the least of your worries. Screw them.

BIG "HELL YEAH"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last night I just found out that he has his PhD!

Phone conversation: "ME:.............................. nice being well accomplished enough, being in the career that makes you most happy *and* having your Bachelors. HIM: Oh, keep going -- I have more than just my bachelors. ME: Masters, HIM: more, ME: PhD (I say in amusement), HIM: Yes, I went to Penn State."

HOLY COW!!! It's such a relief to date some guy who has brains - has a good head on his shoulders for once. Huge contrast to the other guy I left on bad terms with who didn't even have his high school diploma at age 39.

So Brownie cookies to him! You gotta have not only brains but *motivation* to make such an accomplishment. PhD! Imagine that...

Just like what everyone else said, Go for it. All that matters is how the two of you feel about each other. If your happy thats all that matters, everyone else isn't going to make you happy so don't worry about what they think.
