Did an angel trigger the volcano eruption in Mexico?

Recommended Posts

I haven't posted about paranormal things lately but this event I wanted to share. Just to give some background information, volcanoes have long been known to be areas where high occurrences of UFO reports occur. Other high frequency correlations include mountain ranges, natural disasters, times of war, and significant historical events. This has been established by even top researchers such as Dr. J Allen Hynek.

So...

Several weeks ago a Mexican news cameraman filmed a UFO (meaning unidentified since it hasn't been identified) flying over the Popocatepetl volcano near Mexico City.

You can watch the news report here:

I looked into this a bit. I realized that, for whatever reason, the footage was most likely sped up and made to look faster than it really was. I got suspicious. I knew the footage was definitely legitimate and had been analyzed but I wondered why the need to speed it up?

Fast forward about 2 weeks and next thing I hear is the volcano erupted! It was quite a violent explosion.

Watch the eruption here:

Since it's been established that UFOs (if real) have an interest in volcanoes (for whatever reason), and since I personally believe based on Scripture that some/all UFOs are angelic beings, could it be possible that angels have triggered volcanoes to erupt? We already know from Scripture than angels can cause earthquakes, plagues, storms, etc, so why not volcanoes?

This is like not even close to the topic...but being the greatest offender of off topic, but still able to explain it away:

Angels?

No.

Here is an interesting article that explains what causes volcanoes to erupt. It's scientific. Imagine that.

volcanoes have long been known to be areas where high occurrences of UFO reports occur.

Hardly surprising given:

1) Volcanoes have a tendency to throw things up in the air.

2) Heat and dust and smoke have a tendency to distort light and create optical illusions.

Facts which reduce - not add to - the credibility of eye witness testimony to just about anything.

Since it's been established that UFOs (if real) have an interest in volcanoes

If you have no evidence that something actually exists then how can it be "established" what they are interested in?

That is like me saying "I have no reason whatsoever to think there is someone in the next room - but I know he likes bananas".

Before I proceed with engaging you, I will ask my routine question so as to prevent wasting my time: how much time, in hours, have you spent researching anything related to UFO subject (not including entertainmnt movies)?

I do not keep records of how much time I spent on each subject in my life. So I have no answer to give you. You might as well ask me how much time in my life I have spent chewing.

However your question is irrelevant. My points stand in the previous post regardless of whether I have invested 1 hour, 10 hours, 100 hours, or 10,000 hours on studying the subject.

Actually the amount of research is very relevant on this subject. If you had researched this at all, you wouldn't have made the comment that UFOs are merely projectile molten/objects from volcanoes.

I was a former Geology minor in my hay-day and I must say that this is one of the most " unique " (air quotes) theories I've ever heard for why volcanos erupt.

I was a geology major too, before the oil market crashed and I went to Plan B.

But I got to admit I enjoyed this too much to throw stones. M30, there are times when I think you're an absolute nut, but the fun kind of nut that you invite to BBQs just becasue you know he'll get a fun conversation started. :)

Yeah, I minored in it... and majored in History... my first go around. lol. Now it is Business Management and History / Social Science Majors.

My best friend graduated two years ago as a Geology and Natural Science Major and can't find college level jobs, and is working in an outdoor sportmans retail job. I feel bad for him.

It is an interesting theory... but needs a lot more evidence to swing my views.

But I did not make that comment. You are putting words in my mouth. My comment is that volcanoes do put things in the air. And they cause visual distortions.

Which one of those comments is false?

I don't think bulling someone on his believes however crazy they may look to you is an acceptable way of behavior... guys most of you should know better than this...

If OP wants to believe in UFO's what is your problem with it?

Because everybody knows they are real, that's why. It's just too much to handle. People would suddenly be forced to rethink everything about how they live if they knew it to be true. So it's easier to partially block it out and relegate it to the status of "bizarre yet interesting" so that we go on with our lives unchanged.

When people experience a UFO, especially close-range, here is the thought process every time:

1) I just saw a UFO.

2) These things aren't supposed to exist. Everybody knows they aren't real.

3) But I know what I saw.

4) What am I supposed to do? I can't continue to live the same way as before.

Read the testimonies of any big case. This is the pattern.

If OP wants to believe in UFO's what is your problem with it?

Who says anyone has a problem with it? You seem to like entering threads to moan about people having conversation.

This is a discussion forum. It is for discussing topics. The OP started a topic. We are discussing it.

So the question is not what our problem is with it. The question is what is yours? Do you really have nothing better to do with your time than join a discussion forum to moan about people having discussions? Do you also go to zoos to moan about people looking at animals and into bars to moan about people having beer?

Have you anything to add to the actual topic of the thread at all? If not then leave the field.

Because everybody knows they are real, that's why.

I believe UFOs are real in that people see objects, that are flying, that they fail to identify. I 100% believe in that.

If you mean that everyone knows that they are spaceships carrying non humans around the place then no, I do not. There is no evidence, arguments, data or reasoning on offer - much less from you - to suggest there is any such thing.

1) I just saw a UFO.

2) These things aren't supposed to exist. Everybody knows they aren't real.

3) But I know what I saw.

4) What am I supposed to do? I can't continue to live the same way as before.

Read the testimonies of any big case. This is the pattern.

No the real pattern generally is:

1) I saw something.

2) I have no idea what it was.

3) Therefore it was an alien space craft.

The problem being that the jump from 2 to 3 is a massive and baseless non sequitur.

I actually wasn't referring to you in concrete... you were not more nasty that your usually loving personality... I was more referring to those who were commenting how they would bring OP to a barbecue to entertain the people (like a clown)...

I do have a problem with people bulling others... and yes I had something to add to that.

To the topic itself I have nothing to add at all... so go on!

I can see where you might interpret what I wrote that way, but I assure both you and M30 that I didn't mean it in a mean-spirited way. Yes, I think he has some off-the-wall ideas, but there's nothing wrong with that. It makes the world a more interesting place.

It's already been stated that that video's a hoax - the flying object isn't unidentified, it's a plane.

As for what causes a volcano - I admit that I haven't studied UFOs extensively, but I have studied geology extensively (I have a doctoral degree in the subject) and I know an awful lot about volcanoes. I honestly think I can speak with authority on what causes a volcano to erupt, and that that plane flying around it didn't do it.

One way I can tell if someone hasn't looked into UFOs at all is that he/she discredits it entirely and makes some broad-brushed dismissive comment. The reason I respect Robert Z on this forum is because, while he's not a believer per se, he has read up on the issue enough to know he can't dismiss it or make wise cracks. These people I can at least debate because they haven't entered the arena with a pre-set mind which refuses to consider evidence.

This post shouldn't be funny, but considering it's coming from someone who believes the universe is 6000 years old makes it hilarious.

Please quote any place where I, or the Bible, says the universe is 6000 years old. I'll wait.

I said please quote ME or THE BIBLE, not some church or other author. People believe all kinds of things about the Bible which may or may not be true.

The 6k year number pertains not to the age of the universe or even earth, but rather the time which has elapsed (most likely lunar years) since Adam was made. The term "6 days of creation" is a misnomer. They don't describe the creation of earth but rather the conversion of earth from a formless ball (which presumably already existed) into the beautiful earth as it is today. How long the earth and/or universe existed before this, if any duration, is unspecified. We literally have a single verse of Genesis 1:1 where God creates heaven and earth. Everything after Gen 1:1 is picking up once the earth has already been created.

I apologize, let me fix my post:

Happy now?;)

Yes. And you additionally need to specify WHICH humans. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you might want to get up to date on anthropology and genetics. The concept of what defines a "species" has been blown out of the water. We no longer know what constitutes "human". Neanderthals were human. Danisovans were human. Homosapiens are human. Even the multiple 6-inch adult munmies found in the Atacama desert have been proven "human" by geneticists. There needs to be a huge clarification of terms about which humans you're talking about or this discussion is meaningless.
