I just can't forget :\

I'm just a typical teenager with typical emotions and hormones. I normally have such a positive outlook on things and cope easily, however, this time is different. I really can't explain it but there is such a feeling of emptiness left in me. The basic story is that I have liked this girl (Marie), for quite sometime now and we went to homecoming last weekend. Things were looking up, yet everything fell downhill. I'm sorry I am not going to go into the whole story because I'm getting tired of explaining it over and over. Pretty much everything is located here in my LiveJournal at http://www.livejournal.com/users/tripstonowhere. I just need something to help me move on. Some piece of guidance or just some kind words that will make me feel better. I really don't know what I need. I Just needed to share this with someone who really doesn't know me and cannot have a biased outlook on things. So please just read over what I've been thinking about over the last weeks and get back to me. My AIM Screen Name is rsantapv if you would rather talk there, I really don't mind. At this point just about anything would help. Thanks, Ryan.

Reading over other peoples problems in this forum has really made my problem seem so minute and rather stupid. People are trying to get over marriages while I'm whining about such a small thing. However, this is really the first time I've looked for outside help. Whatever, I'm just in a horrible mood. - Ryan

hey ryan

i've not read your journal - i'm leaving for work in 5 minutes and sadly i don't have the time now. but you've clearly had a tough ride over your feelings for marie and i guess it feels like it's going to last for ever. it isn't, my friend.

it doesn't matter what the situation has been that's hurting you. i don't need to know who said what and thought what to know that it will pass. in as little time as a few weeks you'll feel a bit better, i promise.

looking around loveshack should tell you that we all go through hurtful, desperate times we need to seek advice for, but we bounce back because, well, we believe through experience that with friends to help us out and enough time to heal, we can get through anything together.

teenage relationships are such hard work and, overwhelmingly, they fail. but what looks like a hopeless situation to you now only appears so because you can't see the endless wonderful possibilities that you will encounter as you get older. there will be other girls. the world's a big place.

some of those possibilities will not work out but we all live for the ones that will, and when you reach a point where you can look back and not feel the pain you're going through now, you'll genuinely be grateful for having gone through an experience that has strengthened you and made you the wise man you'll soon become.

we're all with you. seek help any time you want. it doesn't have to be a marriage breakdown for us to care. x
