Oddly enough- I did try to join as Faye but they said the name was already taken- that's when I switched to Fayebelle- I love my name now and I'm glad I had to think of it but I thought it was funny that someone joined after me w/the name I 1st tried. Must have been fate.. :)

I also tried changing my name to something else, but someone had already taken it :(

If it causes a person to over-analyze the things in their life or the things of the past then I think it's a bad way to spend time. Self-knowledge and awareness are good things, but I think people can sometimes throw themselves into dissection and become victims or their own paranoid minds. It's not something you can say "LS is bad" about - it's how each person uses it and what they choose to take from it.

I find people fascinating and you get a glimpse into the lives and minds of a cast of thousands on Loveshack.

Occasionally I've found it helpful to read people's accounts of problems which are similar to mine. I once posted a thread about a serious problem (death of a friend) and the response was fantastic, just what I needed at the time.

Other than that it's the friendships I've made, the sheer entertainment value and the shelter from life's storms (good analogy, sinner).

There are some negative aspects to Loveshack but you can always log off!

I'd have put a lot more thought into my username if I'd realised I'd still be around after a year, I intended to be a one post wonder :D Still, I'm to lazy to change it.
