A O
The OP perceives competition with the women, themselves. I replied to the point that made sense to me - the rest of it I can't be bothered with. Its road to nowhere stuff.
SuperGeek
Tom Cruise is also worth at least 300+ MILLION US DOLLARS. With that much status and financial backing, he probably has an entire block of women LINED UP READY to date him. Height and similar rules don't apply to people with hundreds of millions of dollars. Tom Cruise isn't a bad looking guy (no homo), so I'm sure the ladies can let the height requiement slip. If Tom Cruise was working at Burger King making min wage, he would be like the rest of us getting rejected for stuff like 'height' and being broke. Social status is a huge factor when it comes to how much a female is attracted to a man. Tom Cruise was named People magazine's sexiest man alive in 1990 and he is the same height as you. I do not think you being 5 foot 7 is the reason why you can not attract any women.
SuperGeek
I couldn't give a flying **** about the "traditional" family unit. I'm actually glad that women can make their own money now and not be completely dependent on men. Some of my good friends come from single parent homes and if women couldn't work, they'd be on the street somewhere. Mentally, they are somewhat ****ed from the divorce but that's another discussion. I'm proud of my own mother for doing something she likes to do and not having to have my dad support all of the family. We would have went under a long time ago if that was the case. Well hey I'm glad women can work too. Helped me out in divorce court because I wasn't expected to pay for my EX after she cheated on with me with another man. Twenty-thirty years ago I'd have been ordered to pay alimony while she banged other men on my dime. I'm glad that's over. Seriously though, I'm all for women having careers and their own income stream. Hell I hope they make 2x-10x or even ONE HUNDRED TIMES more a year than me. I wouldn't be threatened by that at all. The probability of a woman with that much money dating ME? Next to zero. I suppose you could have meaningless, shallow sex with these gold diggers. But then again, they'd probably make you wait for it. Women at that age don't tend to give it up that easy. They know the deal by then and they're not going to let another guy get into their pants and slip away into the night. Yeah I could and I have before. The part that sucks is it's empty and that gets old after awhile. Also it's just not worth all the bull**** you have to go through to get laid using those means. And you're right, they make you wait and it's just not worth all the bull****. Going through all the bull**** is only worth it if the girl actually cares about me genuinely and well that just doesn't happen (only once in my life until she left). Why did you even waste your time? I'm not even into my second decade of life and even I know that online dating is bull****. Why do most people join dating sites man? Desperation. Not having a companion. Being lonely. The answer is obvious. Women join dating sites so they can expand their pool of men before they make a choice. This why it's all bull**** and not worth it. There is some peer reviewed research regarding high levels of depression amongst men who have tried using dating sites to procure a companion. The findings are shocking and it's no surprise because the rejection rate for men is so high. I doubt it. Women whether they want to admit it or not, need men. Visa-versa too. If it ever got to that unlikely dystopian state, I suppose there would just a mass extermination of undesirable males and then the guys who are over 6'2 with lean body mass would be kept as breeding stock. However, I don't live in a comic-book like you seem to so the more realistic scenario is that women will have a large amount of the political power in 100 years. We will most likely have our first woman president of the United States by then and probably several more. Women probably do desire men, but since they get hit on daily by tons of them, the supply of men is like water running out of the faucet (unlimited supply). Women take their time knowing they can wait for something better to show up or even join a dating site where 50 dudes a day try for their attention. I think a lot of them just love rejecting guys too. Do it if you feel like you need to. The world is a sad place only if you want it to be. Just know that you have it better off than most of the world. In the grand scope of things, these first world problems don't mean ****. If I do go the escort route it will be because I've tried every other option and reached a point of complete sexual frustration. At least going the escort route is more honest. Compare this with your average douchebag at the bar trying to bull**** some girl into having casual sex. Or some douchebag dating a single mom for sex and feeding her lies to keep it going... I've seen this so many times and I won't do that to women, even though they frustrate the **** out of me. Edited June 29, 2013 by SuperGeek
ltjg45
Dating, if people are looking for something serious, is a way to find a compatible partner. When you date like it's entering a hunger games arena, you're automatically disadvantaging yourself. Women want a man who is independent, has a decent job, has an interesting life, decent looking, always have a plan when it comes to dates, etc etc. Sounds like I got a lot to prove to a woman and that breeds competition. The first man who can do all of that and get to her typically wins her. This is why I'm not trying to date right now. I just got a job at Wal-Mart so now I just need to take care of the rest of the stuff on the list before I would consider myself capable of handling the merciless dating scene.
