I'll keep trying but it is so hard sometimes

Recommended Posts

So I'm headed to my final semester of university soon; to be honest, I was envisaging my uni dating life a bit differently to how it has been.

To start off, my first year of uni was marred by a volatile first relationship, after which changed my perspective on dating. Throughout the years later, I would have girls here and there that were really interested in a relationship with me, but I wasn't attracted to them.

So, I try to meet girls I am attracted to, but have only had a hand full of dates. I look at some of the relationships my friends are in and they are in those relationships to have someone there, someone to, say, cuddle with on a Sunday evening. I am, on the other hand, trying to find a girl who's right for me and any girl who is not compatible with me, no matter how lonely I get, I will never date. It's hard though.

Heading into my final semester at uni, I'm thinking of what I should perhaps extend my degree, to perhaps give myself a chance of meeting someone before graduating; but there's every chance I won't. I fear that after leaving uni, where there is a lot of girls to meet, I might not have the same opportunities.

It's just hard sometimes. I'll keep trying though, with a smile
