youdunsay Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 I recalled my ex asked me if I'm a hunter. I think I'm more of a fisherman. But it seems that men love hunter ladies. The girl whom he left for is definitely a hunter - she added as much guy friends as possible in her Facebook, including his friends to set up competition and he fell for 'the hunt' whereas she's actually the one hunting him because she can control his movements. Is this desirable to men? To create competition.
Author youdunsay Posted July 4, 2013 Author Posted July 4, 2013 (edited) On a side note, men seems to love women with a bit of nacissism like posting photos of themselves frequently on Facebook to get more "likes". Isn't it? Edited July 4, 2013 by youdunsay Add on some words 1
Emilia Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 On a side note, men seems to love women with a bit of nacissism like posting photos of themselves frequently on Facebook to get more "likes". Isn't it? It depends on age and how vulnerable the man likes his women.
Author youdunsay Posted July 4, 2013 Author Posted July 4, 2013 Hunter - actively seek out. Fisherman - passively waiting.
Emilia Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Hunter - actively seek out. Fisherman - passively waiting. Ah. Then I'm a hunter
USMCHokie Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 I have found that I usually end up sitting in the boat, eating a sandwich, and waiting for a fish to jump into the boat. 4
Emilia Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 I have found that I usually end up sitting in the boat, eating a sandwich, and waiting for a fish to jump into the boat. who then splash around at the bottom trying to gulp some air and drown 3
MercuryMorrison1 Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Hunter - actively seek out. Fisherman - passively waiting. I've dabbled with both techniques honestly. Both have their up's and downs. For example as the ''Hunter'' You will get more dates, but you also have to deal with alot more crazies and painfully incompatibles. As the Fisherman, you won't get nearly as many dates, however the quality of the few dates you go on is likely to be of a higher standerd.
Feelin Frisky Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 I don't know what anyone is fishing for in the way of metaphoric coincidences bu I am a fisherman who approaches the pass-time as a hunter. There are guys who either go on a boat or on a pier, bait a hook, drop it, hope and wait. And their are fisherman like myself who scout all back bays, warm water outflows from power plants and other phenomena that draw fish and cast jigs or pugs to get them to chase. I call it active versus passive fishing. It's fine to go on a boat once in a while, bait up, drop a hook and sinker and bail fish if they are there and biting. But it's much more exciting to stalk schools of feeding blues. stripers, mackerel, croakers, yellow tail that follow lures and poppers. Does that make me half a cocksman? I hope hot. 1
The Introvert Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 I am a fisherman-cum-hunter. I think fishing depends much on luck and needs loads of patience. Hunting is the way to go and it demands energy in abundance. Ya, I love it when girls compete for me but that's one of my wildest dreams:laugh:

Not so much the dates part for me but the dealing with the crazies and incompatibles (before getting to dates).
tman666 Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Came into this thread hoping to discuss actual hunting and fishing. Left disappointed. 1

Author youdunsay Posted July 6, 2013 Author Posted July 6, 2013 So for the female gender, is it better to generate a pool of fishes aka create your own fan club and pretend to be a fisherman whereas you are the actual hunter?
tbf Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Pfft! I don't know, really. Fishermen? Hunters?Hey, humans are omnivores so it's all about meat. 1
USMCHokie Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Hey, humans are omnivores so it's all about meat. Sausage in particular. 1
Archgirl Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Combination of both. Set out the trap, bait it attractively, confuse the trail and wait until they think it's all their idea 1
Author youdunsay Posted July 6, 2013 Author Posted July 6, 2013 I hunt multiple prey at the same time rofl...it must be tiresome
Emilia Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 So for the female gender, is it better to generate a pool of fishes aka create your own fan club and pretend to be a fisherman whereas you are the actual hunter? It's not a pool in my case. I prefer to work on one potential at a time for various reasons, one is that I'm probably too nice
